Winters offer opportunities for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing out the door. Gore Mountain Ski Center is 30 minutes to the north. Tired of being out in the snow? Just huddle up next to the woodstove and enjoy the solitude. You know, there was a time when I heated completely with wood , but I got lazy and had a gas, forced air furnace installed! There has never been a time that I couldn't get to where I needed to go in the winter there. The road is paved and kept plowed.

Sound like you're in the middle of nowhere? Not so. There are cable and high-speed internet available to the house. All of the appliances are included, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. On yeah, and the roof was just replaced, so you are set!
