DESCRIPTION
This property, 106
Windsong Acres, is located on Route # 28; seven miles from
the busy corner in Old Forge. It is just two miles south
of Eagle Bay between the Lanterns and Northwoods Inn. For
snowmobiling, biking, and hiking we have access to
recreation Trail # 5 directly across Rt. 28...in front of
Mountain Side Lodge. This Trail also connects with trails
to Piseco, Bub and Cascade Lakes for cross country skiing.
Just picture
yourself "living the Dream", as you relax at
waters edge in your own screened in gazebo which serves as
the entryway to the dock. It measures 12' x 24' and is
perfect (especially in springtime) with outdoor carpeting
and electricity. Included are a bonus of a study picnic
table and two double Adirondack table chairs.
The Dock
measures 16' x 24' and can moor most medium sized boats.
The 67; lakefront features a natural stone break-wall. The
clear water and sandy bottom make for pleasant swimming.
The three
story house has rustic brown wooden siding and metal
roofs. It is surrounded by three decks facing east, south,
and west with mountain, 4th Lake views.
The southern
deck enters and 8' x 21' sunroom with a tiled floor which
is finished in knotty pine. From here we enter the living
room which has beamed ceilings and a red brick fireplace
(photo on rental 5648). For old fashioned interest, there
is a triple window with built in storage bench.
The galley
kitchen has a triangular floor plan, tiled floor,
stainless sink with greenhouse window, Jen Aire stove,
dishwasher, range, and breakfast bar divider. The 12' by
12' dining room is tiled in blue and gold imparted Italian
tile. It has a sliding door connecting to the east deck
with a lovely view of 7th Lake Mountain.

provides an entryway to the full cellar as well as the
"back" door. This entry room acts as a mudroom,
den (extra bedroom). It's for storage with a 10 foot
closet, storage closet, and broom closet. It is finished
in rough cut wood, with three sets of shelves plus a
greenhouse window, and area gas heater.
The hot tub
bathroom is fully tiled with a concealed toilet and
shower. The room is wood paneled with a sliding door to
the east deck for easy Lake access. The 6 x 8 sunken,
tiled tub is a real luxury in winter.
The second
floor has two bedrooms 12 x 12 with lake views and
closets. One has a connecting 10 x 12 bedroom/nursery/den
with a large closet and backyard view.
The bath has
been remodeled in knotty pine. There is also a hall, cedar
linen closet, and a laundry closet. The living room,
stairway, and second floor all have newly refinished
wooden floors.
The third
floor loft bedroom has three built in twin beds which kids
just love. Also a large closet plus stair railing.
The detached
garage is 16 x 24 feet with a center manual overhead door.
It has electricity and a rough concrete floor.
This home is
furnished for rental and it is in move in condition.
Presently it is fully rented for summer "2008"
thus it will be shown by previous appointment only; please
