DESCRIPTION
Our cottage is located on a private pond, nestled in 50 acres woods. You can step right on
to your own hiking trails from your front door. View the pond from the cottage or sit on
your own dock as the sun sets. A canoe is available for paddling and fishing. Northern
Pike, Large and Smallmouth Bass as well as Perch are in abundance in the pond. There
is a fire pit to enjoy cooking outdoors and enjoy the stars at night. Inside there is a
master bedroom with a sleeping loft which can sleep an additional four people. There
also a crib, if needed. There is a propane fireplace in the living room for those chilly
nights. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave but excluding dishwasher.
There is no television. You are a short distance to some of the best hiking trails in the
Adirondacks as well as the St. Regis wilderness canoe area. Lake Placid is less than a
half hour drive, with its great shops, restaurants and Olympic venues. A wonderful sandy
beach is nearby on Lake Clear.
