DESCRIPTION
Timberlake is
located on the shore
of Lake Adirondack, in the Town of Indian Lake. The log house is
situated on two acres of woods with about 100 feet of
lakefront where there is a dock for swimming, fishing
and tying up a canoe or kayak.
There is a fire ring near the shore for
enjoying a nighttime campfire or daytime picnic.
Because of the restriction to only 10hp motors
on this lake, it is quiet and great for fishing and
relaxing.
Timberlake
is fully equipped with all modem conveniences. The
kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher,
frig and other small appliances. On the main floor
there are two bedrooms. One with twin beds and the
other with a queen. The
main bathroom is on this floor as well as the
living/dining area that has patio doors out to the
deck and large windows.
The loft has a queen bed and half bath plus a
sitting area with views to the lake.
There is an office room on the main floor with
a full size futon that can sleep two if needed and an
adjoining laundry room with washer/dryer for your use.
The house also has an attached two car garage.
All linens
are supplied (sheets, blankets, bathroom towels) but
we suggest you bring your own beach towels. There is
cable TV, VCR, CD, DVD
player, radio, foosball, books, games, and puzzles.
The house has wired and wireless internet service.
Smoking is not permitted on the property (this policy
is firm). We can discuss pets.
Indian
Lake is a true community with townspeople that love where
they live and actively participate in making it a
friendly and welcoming place. There are street fairs,
local band concerts and merchants that can offer most
anything you could need while on vacation. The walk to
town from the house is a pleasant 15 minute stroll.
Nearby are
attractions such as the Adirondack Museum
in Blue Mountain Lake,
Lake George
with outlet shopping and Great Escape amusement park
are just some of the options.
There are boat and seaplane rides on many of
the local Adirondack Lakes, original “camps” to tour, float trips on the
river to be experienced.
There is no lack of activities in the Adirondacks
and something for everyone.
