Enjoy 1,250 feet of private access on the famous East branch of the AuSable River while you stay in this newly-renovated Adirondack home. This river is world-renowned for its fly fishing enjoyment. The wide expanse with pools, rocks, and deep open areas provides exciting trout action.

Originally constructed in 1840, this home has pine walls, hardwood floors and rustic decor that compliment the natural surroundings. This non-smoking home, has a large eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, den, laundry room, and plenty of room for large families. Roam over five acres that include open meadow, pine forest or sit on the
covered porch to enjoy the sound and sight of rushing water.

On this site is a 24' x 26' barn known as "Hazzard Forge" where nails were hand made in the mid-1800's. A quiet road lends easy access to property in all seasons. New York State land directly across from the property protects the privacy of fishermen, swimmers, and sunbathers. The shoreline has sandy beach areas and is large enough for setting up a tent, blankets for a picnic and reclining in lounge chairs.

Set in the high peaks, many recreational activities are nearby and can be enjoyed year round. For fishing, hiking, canoeing, tubing, rock climbing, biking, golfing, hunting, skiing, x-country skiing, ice skating, ice climbing, snowshoeing, horseback riding etc., this is a great spot.

Mount Von Hovenberg and Whiteface Mountain Olympic venues are just 15 minutes away. Convenient to the quaint village of Lake Placid and the Olympic Center Complex, just 20 minutes away. International airports at Montreal, Canada, Albany, New York, and Burlington, VT, are less than 2 hours away by car. Lake Champlain and the ferries to Vermont less than 40 minutes to the East.

Property is along Ironman Bike Course. We are located on the Keene/Upper Jay border.

RENTAL RATES
$224 per day; 3 night minimum please.
We accept MasterCard and Visa, cash, checks, or Traveler's Checks. A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. Check out is by 11:00 a.m. Let us know if this does not fit your schedule and we can make special arrangements. Cancellations and changes in reservations must be made fourteen (14) days in advance. We are not able to absorb late cancellations and changes in plans due to weather or other reasons beyond our control. Early departures and late cancellations are charged for the full stay as reserved unless we can fully re-book your reserved time period.
