| Fawn Hill Camp is a charming Adirondack red and white cottage, nestled near the woods. It is just a short 1/2 mile walk or drive from the Old Forge town center. Old Forge has a sandy beach with life-guard, and diving boards for great swimming. A boat dock in Old Forge for your motorboat, canoe or kayak is close at hand. Many quaint shops and restaurants abound on Main Street for your shopping convenience and for enjoyable eating-out after another great day in the Adirondacks. Also nearby are a well-stocked supermarket, a drugstore, and a movie theater.
Old Forge is also the home of the Enchanted Forest, a large water-slide park, and of McCauley Mountain, where a chairlift takes you up for scenic views. Two golf courses are within a 15-minute drive. The cottage has a large deck with an awning which overlooks the woods where many deer pass by every day. The deck provides a leisurely spot to enjoy coffee and newspapers in the morning and to have meals in the outdoors. Fawn Hill is an excellent location for hiking or biking, situated on the South Shore Road bike path which connects to the Old Forge bike trails. Fawn Hill is perfect for your family holiday needs. The cottage includes four small bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs with toilet and shower and is very suitable for a family with children. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and one is equipped with twin beds, therefore 6 - 8 can be accommodated. One bedroom also has TV. A screened-in porch on the front of the house provides additional "hanging-out" space for you and your guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee-maker, and toaster. There is plenty of cupboard space, stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and all other kitchen essentials. A beautiful, sunny attached dining room seats six. There is also an outdoor gas barbecue and a fire-pit to roast marshmallows with the kids. For rainy days, there is a large TV with TimeWarner cable in the living room, as well as a stereo, VCR and DVD player. The wood burning fireplace keeps you cozy during the Spring and Fall seasons. At the backdoor mudroom entrance you will find a small washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board for your convenience. The house has a double garage to keep your car dry and to store bicycles, kayaks, and canoes. Gas and electric heat is also included. The cottage has cell phone reception from Verizon and Cingular (ATT). No pets and no smoking in Fawn Hill Camp please. |

Housekeeping services: Cottage will be cleaned between rentals. These services will consist of dusting, vacuum, and cleaning the floors, bathroom and kitchen. Any extraordinary cleaning deemed necessary, will be separately charged. |
| Linen Policy: | Most renters bring linens or sleeping bags and towels.
Linens can be provided at an additional charge of $40. and towels at an additional $15. Pillows, mattress pads, blankets,and bed spreads are provided. |
