Camp High Rock is a year-round, beautiful, secluded chalet. Its open floor plan is perfect for large family get-togethers or multi family reunions. It features 4+ bedrooms, 3 full baths, 3 levels of living space including a hot tub, a Great Room (20+ foot cathedral ceiling) with a woodstove, a fully equipped kitchen, large ground level rec room with TV, VCR, and a ping pong table. The home is decorated in authentic Adirondack furnishings right down to the birch railings. Camp High Rock is much more than your typical Adirondack vacation rental.

Camp High Rock is part of the Garnet Hill Community and offers exceptional year-round recreational activities. Garnet Hill is a 635-acre private community with private waterfront and beach on spring-fed 13th Lake adjacent to the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area located less than 10 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Center. Guests at Camp High Rock will be able to enjoy a multitude of activities including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing/sailing, swimming, basketball and tennis (two private courts) just out their front door. Within the community is the Garnet Hill Cross Country Ski Center which is rated one of the Top 10 centers in the country. There are 55 KM of groomed trails and at an elevation of 2,000' the Center receives an abundance of natural snowfall. A typical season receives over 150 days of exceptional ski conditions. This coupled with its proximity to Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain (one hour) makes Camp High Rock the ideal winter getaway. After a full day of fun it's easy to warm up, unwind while relaxing by the fire and watch the snowfall through the peaked window front. 

The Springtime brings forth another river of activity - White water rafting. There are several rafting outfitters within a few miles of the house. The Hudson River isn't the only water that flows in the Spring. You can enjoy the sounds of a mountainside brook that meanders through the property while just waking up or sitting on the deck that runs the expanse of the house. 

To many who vacation in the Adirondacks, Summer is their favorite season. The Garnet Hill Community has the only private sandy beach on picturesque 13th Lake. It is the perfect swimming spot - roped off swimming area, two floating rafts, dock, gentle slope with sandy bottom and beach. The lake shoreline is 96% state owned which makes it one of the most peaceful lakes in the Adirondack Park. Since 13th Lake doesn't allow motor boats you'll enjoy the beautiful surrounding and sounds of the loons without being disturbed. During the late Spring, Summer, and Fall, the Garnet Hill Mountain Bike Center is in full operation - be sure to bring your helmet! If you forget your bike, bike rentals are available at the Center.

Fall is a spectacular time of year to be at Camp High Rock! Leaf peepers can enjoy the array of colors from the lake, their bikes, or from the many hiking trails originating in Garnet Hill. There are many trails to enjoy right out your back door that take you in and around the lake, past babbling brooks, and up to beautiful panoramic views on rock outcroppings and peaks.

If you venture out of the community. Camp High Rock is only 25 minutes to the Tahawas trailhead in Newcomb which leads into the High Peaks Region. Other nearby attractions include the Adirondack Museum, Upper Hudson River Railroad, Adirondack Park Interpretive Visitor Center, Garnet Mine Tours, Lake George, Adirondack Great Camp tours, and all of the tremendous things the Adirondacks has to offer.
