This brand-new chalet style home is an ideal retreat for all seasons. Located near the end of a secluded, tree-lined country road, this rental allows for a quiet getaway, yet is in close proximity to all of the activities of the Speculator region. We are a few miles from beautiful Lake Pleasant, the Lake Pleasant Golf Course, Oak Mountain Ski Center, Camp of the Woods, and the many wonderful shops and restaurants of Speculator. The location of the rental allows for easy day trips to Gore Mountain, Lake Placid, Saratoga or Lake George. And, of course, all the natural beauty of the Adirondacks is right outside your window.

The home features a long list of amenities providing modern comfort in a beautiful country setting. The top floor has a master suite with a queen-sized bed, a private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and a large loft room that includes a library of books to read and board games to play. The ceilings are all knotty pine and overlook the spacious living room below. The living room boasts ultra-comfortable, brand new country furniture, a home theatre system including stereo, satellite TV/DVD/Sony PlayStation, and a magnificent stone/gas fireplace for cozy nights by the fire. The home has a modern kitchen with breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and microwave. Also, the first floor has a full bath and two additional large bedrooms, one with a twin trundle bed and bunk beds and the other with a double bed. There is plenty of room for the whole family in this comfortable house. We are also pleased to offer high speed Internet with wireless access in the home for no additional charge.

Enjoy morning coffee or leisurely afternoons sitting on the large deck overlooking a winding stream and Adirondack wetlands. Just a short walk from the front door is a shared private sandy beach on tranquil Oxbow Lake. In the summertime, bring your boat or just relax on the beach. For cold weather lovers, the home is right next to Hamilton County snowmobile trails and is a short drive to ski centers. Whatever your preference, we are sure you'll find the Oxbow Chalet a great getaway in any season.

A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The balance and a $300 security deposit are due 30 days prior to arrival. We can accept payment via PayPal, please notify us if this is of interest to you.
