DESCRIPTION
The home is located just up the hill, a short way from
the village of Bolton Landing, close to the shops on
the main street of town (9N) and to the beaches on
Lake George. A convenient but private home in the
mountains.
The
charming little village offers a variety of
restaurants, antique shops, clothing and gift shops,
two public beaches and parks and marinas to rent boats
and jet skis or go waterskiing or parasailing. There
are also charter boats for fishing or canoes and
kayaks to rent for a more leisurely trip on the water.
There are trails to hike and Adirondacks Extreme with
ropes to swing in the treetops. Also within a short
distance there is horseback riding and mountain bike
trails.
An Outlet
Mall is within 20 minutes.
Visit the
museum to view the local history or the library for a
good book. There is a full size supermarket in town
and hardware store for extra water toys. The famous
historical Sagamore Hotel and Resort offers more fine
dining, massage, and a world class golf course.
This turn
of the century home is fully furnished and sits on a
small cozy lot backed up to the woods. It has a
screened in porch on the front and a comfortable deck
with gas grill in the back.

a large, fully equipped, eat in kitchen which is
adjoined by the living room and queen size futon. Off
the kitchen is a bedroom with two twin beds. The
bathroom with shower has access from the bedroom or
kitchen and includes a combination washer/dryer.
Upstairs
there are three bedrooms and a full bath with tub.
Each bedroom has two twin beds and two dressers.
The home
has oil fired hot air heat and is extremely well
insulated so it is cool in the summer. Window air
conditioners are provided for extreme heat or
humidity.
Please
bring your own linens and towels to maximize turn over
time.
The
separate two bedroom cottage in the back with kitchen,
living room, and bath can sleep another three people
for an extra charge per week, perfect for older teens
or in-laws.
Complimentary
beach passes will be supplied for the town beaches.
This
simple, comfortable, affordable home is a great family
getaway in the mountains.
