| A Little Adirondack Charm & A Little Adirondack Charm 2 (Adk Charm 2 is not a handicap accessible unit) is a centrally located rental in Lake Placid, NY. It's located behind the Pine Hill Townhomes in a very clean home, The house is handicap accessible, & has two bedrooms & two & a half baths. Master bedroom has a king sized bed, guest room has a queen sized bed & a bunk bed that sleeps 3, it has a twin on top & full size on the bottom. Fully furnished home with Natuzzi leather couches, hard wood & ceramic tile floors, linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, color cable flatscreen TV's, fully equipped kitchen w/dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker w/free coffee, glass top stove etc. There's a washer & dryer, There's a 46 inch HD Flatscreen TV in the living room w/DVD/VCR player, 200 channels of high definition cable TV, cable internet access (wifi & wired), non-smoking property, ample parking. Unit is also dog friendly only. If you do not bring a crate for your dog, we ask that when you are gone to please put them in the laundry room, as we do not want them on the furniture, beds, or left loose in the house to chew or make a mess on the hardwood floors, we hope that every guest will adhere to this policy & respect our policies. Our concern with the pets on the beds is that there is a Sleep Number Bed & there are baffles in each side of the bed to adjust for your comfort level, if someone or someones pet jump on these beds like a trampoline, they run the risk of puncturing the baffles, if this happens during your stay then you will be expected to replace the baffles. The house is a 15 minute drive to Whiteface for a day of skiing, a gondola ride or a Mt. Bike trip down the trails. 10 minutes to Mt. Van Hoevenberg for a ride down the 1/2 mile bobsled track or cross country skiing or a ride on the Mt. Bike trails Hoevenberg has to offer. Minutes from the Olympic Center and Main Street, Lake Placid restaurants and shopping. We also have the Palace Movie Theater located in the center of the Village with four movies playing daily at night and at certain times of the seasons there are more and in the summer they offer matinees. Lisa G's, and Liquids and Solids are located just at the bottom of the hill, as well as a liquor store next to Liquids and Solids, and Subway is less than half a block from Lisa G's. The Horse Show Grounds, Ski Jumps, and Olympic Training Center five minute drive from the house. Golfing is just a few minutes away at the Lake Placid Club Resort or Craig Wood Golf Course. Hiking trails, Mirror Lake and Lake Placid Lake are only minutes away to rent a canoe, paddle boat or motor boat or take a stroll around Mirror Lake or on one of the many hiking trails Lake Placid has to offer. Train station is located just down the hill for a scenic train ride (seasonal) along with Mill Pond that you can bring a canoe or rowboat to. Float along the river or sit and watch the water, there is also a mini kids playground and picnic tables. Lake Placid's Main Street Shopping and Dining are only a few minutes away. Call for more details. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to rent the house. The deposit is put towards the cost of your rental and is non-refundable in the event you were to cancel. Any damage to the house is the responsibility of you the renter. ANY DAMAGE IS TO BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE. There is a cleaning fee per unit of $100.00. Traveler's Checks, Money Orders, Bank Check or Cash are accepted. This house is our dream and it enables us to help pay the bills, considering all my disabilities that I have. We have put everything we have into our home and we hope and pray that you as our guests will not destroy anything. We are a located in a family district and the Village of Lake Placid has a noise ordinance and it is 9pm. We ask that you adhere to this ordinance and we will allow you to have guests till 11pm, no loud noises or jumping around or pounding around on the floor as we live here too. We ask that you respect this or you will be asked to leave. Thank you We have added a new rental in our home. It is named A Little Adirondack Charm 2 Vacation Recession Rental. We are asking $85.00/nite in the slow season & $95/nite in the high season with a cleaning fee of $75.00. A one night's stay is required to hold your dates & a $25.00 pet fee. It is a downstairs 2 bed 2 bath that sleeps 6, also a 2 night minimum. There's a queen in the master bedroom with it's own bath & laundry located off the master bath & guest room has 2 twins with it's own bath & a queen size air mattress. It has Natuzzi leather couches & chairs, a 32" flatscreen TV in the living room, a TV in each bedroom. It has ceramic tile floors, full kitchen, linens and towels provided, wifi or wired internet, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pots, pan, dishes, utensils, etc. The two rentals can be rented together or seperately.
