Description:
This charming and unique historic Adirondack cottage is located a short five minute walk from the heart of Bolton Landing and is 100 yards from the Sagamore Hotel bridge. The cottage was constructed on Mohican Island in the Narrows and moved to its present site in 1914. It has been well maintained with updated plumbing and electric, but looks and feels very much as it did when purchased by the owners family in 1955. The wrap around porch overlooks the lake and provides a cool place to relax and enjoy the view. The large floor to ceiling windows make for a bright interior and the surrounding tall white pine trees help to keep the cottage cool. Antique oak furnishings dot most of the rooms in the cottage along with other eclectic pieces.

The second floor has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twins, and a full bath (tub). The living room also has a futon that can sleep two

The first floor has narrow plank natural oak floors in the large living room and in the dining room. The kitchen is ample with an electric stove, refrigerator, and all basic utensils and small appliances. A rear room adjacent to the kitchen contains a single child's bed and newly renovated full bathroom (shower).

The house is 100 feet from the Lake with the front porch facing the Lake. One dock is reserved for house tenants for swimming (ladder at end of dock - 5 feet depth) and sunning and one dock slip, which can accommodate up to a 25' boat, is included in the rental.

Pet Policy: Well behaved pets are permitted with a $125/ week surcharge. Dogs may never be permitted to run free and must be leashed or tethered at all times. Pet waste must be picked up promptly.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the cottage and on the porch. Cigarette/cigar remains must be disposed of properly and not left on the grounds.
Cleaning Policy: We utilize a cleaning service between rentals, which is included in our rental rates

PRIOR TO DEPARTURE PLEASE: empty the trash cans, wash Dishes, empty ashes from the grill or fireplace, police the grounds for trash, leave furniture and amenities where they were found upon arrival, and otherwise leave the cottage and grounds tidy, organized and ready for our cleaning service to get to work. During the week, trash must be placed into containers provided the night before pickup day, which will be posted.
Linen Policy: Linens and towels are not provided. Pillows and blankets are available.
Security Deposit Information: Security deposit will be returned no later than two weeks after last day and after inspection by the owner, the cleaning crew, or other agents of the owner. Deductions may be taken for any damages, violation of pet or smoking rules, or if the condition requires extraordinary cleaning required in excess of 2 hours. Details in the lease.
Rental Rates: IN SEASON
June 30 - September 8, 2011. Full weeks only minimum (Sat. to Sat.)
$1,825/ week. $100 per week additional for each person over 6 people and each pet.
$500 reserve deposit due with lease; balance due 4 weeks before start.

OFF SEASON (except Americade)
$1,200/ week - $60 per week for each person over 6 and each pet.
Reserve deposit due with lease; balance due 4 weeks before start.

2 night minimum @ $185/ night. 3 night long weekends @ $500
Payment in full due with lease

AMERICADE WEEK (June 2-9. 2012)
$1,500/ week - $60 per week for each person over 6 and each pet.
Reserve deposit due with lease; balance due 4 weeks before start.
