| Gladstone House, located at Garnet Hill, just 10 minutes from Gore Mountain, is an oasis in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Part of a 600 acre tract of land with a private beach on 13th Lake and bordered on three sides by state wilderness land, Garnet Hill is a picturesque, four season mountain resort located in New York's Central Adirondack Mountains. It is a 90 minute drive from Albany, NY.
In the fall, enjoy spectacular foliage for leaf peeping as well as excellent hunting and fishing nearby. In winter, Garnet Hill is a complete cross country ski center with over 55 kilometers of groomed ski trails for all ability levels. Gore Mountain is located 10 miles from Garnet Hill. Challenge yourself to white water rafting on Class III and IV rapids on the Upper Hudson River in the spring. Summer activities include canoing and kayaking on numerous Adirondack lakes and rivers, swimming at Garnet Hill's private sandy beach, tennis, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking all within your own backyard. Gladstone House sleeps 12 in four bedrooms; a master bedroom with a queen size bed, two rooms with two twins in each, and a bunk bedroom offering a set of bunks, a twin and a toddler bed. A queen size futon is also located in the downstairs great room. In addition, Gladstone House offers two full baths, a dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, gas grill, two fireplaces, canoe, and all the amenities of home. You will have all you need to live the Adirondack experience without living the "camp life". |
