| Welcome to the Mink Den!
Our wonderful waterfront cabin is fully furnished to meet all of your needs. Located in the High Peaks Region on Fern Lake in Black Brook, NY, it is close to many Adirondack favorites: fishing in the Au Sable river, Santa's workshop, Lake Placid and the Olympic Training Center, Whiteface Mountain, and great golfing. Montreal is only 80 miles and ferry access to Vermont is close as well. Our two bedroom, one full bath cottage comes with an additional rustic summer sleep cabin (great for kids or in-laws), providing the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful summer vacation; fishing off the dock, berry picking, hiking, training for Iron Man contests, or just relaxing and enjoying the fresh Adirondack air. Includes a canoe, rowboat, and many other amenities. TESTIMONIALS 1. We've been vacationing now at the Mink Den 3 years in a row. It's situated perfectly on Fern Lake, where you get sun all day long, which is great for swimming, boating, fishing, or just lounging and listening to the loons. And because it's located in the High Peaks Region, you get to choose from hundreds of the best hiking trails in the Adirondacks. The Mink Den is fully stocked too! Anything and everything is there from dishes to sheets and towels, to books and puzzles! All you need is your food and clothes! John even had our fire wood delivered! We love it, and so do our dogs! | Cleaning Policy: | We ask that you clean prior to departure. This is one of the ways we keep our costs down. We inspect the cabin after departure of each party prior to occupancy of the next. If you wish to pay for cleaning services up front the cost is an additional $50. Note that if you choose this option and it takes our cleaner longer than 2 hours, you will be billed at $25/hour and it will be deducted from your security deposit. |
| Linen Policy: | We provide linens but you may elect to bring your own to reduce amount of washing/drying/folding time on departure day. |
| Security Deposit Information: | Required. Amount varies based on type of rental but is typcially between $300-$400 and is fully refundable assuming no damages or losses are incurred during your stay. |
