Newly renovated single family house located in the southeast end of the Village of Lake Placid, Lakeplacidhouse is ideal for those looking for easy access to the Olympic Skating Arenas, Main Street, Mirror Lake and Adirondack attractions such as Whiteface skiing, High Peaks hiking, great fishing in the Ausable and golf at any one of the many championship golf courses nearby. It is also a quiet, comfortable retreat. Our house is a five minute walk to the Olympic Skating Arenas, Main Street, Mirror Lake and downtown shops. Movies are just a 10 minute walk. Ideally suited for one or two families. Our guests find Lake Placid House comfortable, convenient and a uniquely affordable value within the Village of Lake Placid.
Enjoy the main living room while the kids gather in our cozy lower level living area with TV, Cable, DVD, VCR, and comfortable furniture. We have wireless internet throughout the house. The living room's 32 inch television is equipped with cable, DVD and a VCR player. We have a library of DVDs for your use as well as a CD/AM/FM stereo with input for an MP3 player. Lake Placid House has a fully equipped kitchen with service for 9. Our dining room table seats six. Additional seating for meals can be had in the kitchen, by using our convenient wooden table trays inside in the living room or outside on the spacious wooden deck. Our deck includes a new gas grille and Adirondack chairs for your use. Sleeping accommodations include three bedrooms; two rooms with new queens size beds and one with new mattresses on two single beds. The living room has a new leather queen size sleeper sofa. The new Futon downstairs sleeps one adult comfortably (and two cozily). Lake Placid House has a bath with a tub/shower and another bath with a shower. The house also comes with a washer and dryer for your use. The new main bathroom has a tub and shower, ceramic tile floor and lots of space for changing clothes. In addition to the washer, dryer we have provided an iron and ironing board. All linens, bedding, towels and washcloths are provided and are less than two years old. All paper products including paper towels, toilet and facial tissue are provided for your convenience. Thank you for looking at our Lake Placid House. We hope to have you and yours as guests soon. |
