Description:
Thanks for your interest in our Moose Crossing Townhouse for your rental. Our place is very accommodating.

Upon entering our three-level townhouse we have hardwood floors in the fully equipped kitchen and half bath. The kitchen has a new glass-top stainless stove, dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator with exterior ice and water plus a new stainless microwave. Our most recent upgrade is Brazilian Granite with spots of garnet on our counters along with our chocolate granite sink! Our dining area provides seating for four or up to eight by adding leaves to the table. Plenty of Pyrex and baking pans are available as well as a large crock pot for those "slow-cooked" meals for a crowd. Baking supplies, spices, and most condiments are provided.

The living room has two leather chairs, one being a recliner, a red velvet wing chair, and a cozy couch. Our guests can relax when they watch TV/DVD/VCR and admire our electric fireplace. We have new laminate flooring and rugs plus high speed wireless internet and Digital cable provided at our desk as well as A/C on the main level for those hot, humid days. If you wish, there is a table and Adirondack seating on our main level deck where you can sneak a look at the Olympic Ski Jumps to the East or a peek at the Chubb River Waterfall.

Our second level offers two bedrooms with pine floors. The guest bedroom has a complete queen oak set with two dressers and a TV. There is plenty of space on the 1930 metal chairs to rest your ski or beach bags. The master bedroom has a "Moose" queen hand-carved bed-frame plus an antique mirrored dresser that provides space for all of your personal items. Enjoy watching TV or popping in a movie on the VCR in our air-conditioned master bedroom. Window fans in each bedroom are also an option. Each bedroom has a walk-in closet for storage. The shared second floor bathroom has a separate double bowled sink area and a private toilet/tub area that has new fixtures, paint, and tile floors.

Now for the lower level! Our carpeted, air-conditioned lower level offers two bedrooms especially for those young kids, teens as well as adults. The front bedroom boasts an antique double bed with a great view of the TV/VCR. Relax on either the couch, rocker or Adirondack chair or walk out onto a covered deck with a wooden swing. The back bedroom contains a full size inner spring futon with a single bunk on top along with chairs for relaxation.. This room also has a fully stocked laundry area with the new High-efficiency washer and dryer behind bi-fold doors. The shared bathroom shower area is also upgraded with new fixtures and tile floors.

We take pride in knowing that our guests can enjoy either a charcoal or gas grill and dine on our outdoor table. The backyard is very private and sounds of the Chubb River waterfall makes for a very pleasing dinner setting. There are metal 1930's chairs on the deck plus beach chairs and chaise lounge chairs.

We have two restaurants down the hill from us with great food and friendly bars only a block walk which is important during busy weeks since parking on Main Street is quite a problem at times. We are one-half mile from the Olympic Arena, Mirror Lake beach, and the Toboggan slide. The North Elba Historical Museum and Adirondack railroad station is just down the hill from us with scenic rides to Saranac Lake. The far end of Main Street is about a mile, so walking is an option if one is so inclined. Summer activities include kayaking on Mill Pond, Mirror Lake, or Lake Placid; swimming; sailing; biking or hiking. We are about four miles from the ADK road and seven miles from Cascade Mountain. Winter activities include the toboggan rides onto the lake; Luge; Bobsled; downhill skiing; Nordic skiing; hockey and skating on the lake, arena, or Speed skating Oval.

Smoking Policy: We regret to not allow any smoking inside our townhouse. We are sensitive and allergic to smoke and therefore require no smoking at our place. Thanks for your cooperation!
Cleaning Policy: Cleaning is provided by the landlord and paid for by the tenant in our contract for rental. We request that dishes will be clean either in the dishwasher or put away and no dirty dishes will be left in the sink or on counters. Thank you!
Linen Policy: All linens are supplied and described in our rental contract.
Security Deposit Information: A security deposit is required and explained in the rental contract.
Rental Rates: $275 - $500 per night
$1,800 - $3,500 per week
