| This rustic Adirondack cottage is located directly on the shoreline of scenic and private Lake Clear. The cottage was once part of the popular Lake Clear Inn resort, which closed in the 1960s. The Inn was demolished, leaving behind a handful of cottages, which are now privately owned and part of the Lake Clear Inn Property Owners Association.
The cottage has an inviting deck and dock from which guests enjoy views of the High Peaks and water sports. One bedroom (10 x 12) has a queen sized bed. A bathroom, with claw foot tub and shower (in the tub), is situated between it and the kitchen. The second bedroom (11 x 13) has two twins beds. Living room (10 x 22) has a couch, chair, and woodstove. The kitchen is fully equipped, including coffee maker and microwave oven. A comfortable screened in porch (8 x 24) runs the length of the cabin and features a relaxing glider just 15 feet from the shoreline. At Lake Clear, you can enjoy solitude, great fishing, and haunting calls of loons. Nearby attractions include the St. Regis Mountain, Saranac Inn Golf Course, Paul Smiths College, Lake Clear Canoe Carry, Tupper Lake Nature Center, and Lake Placid, among others.
