This very desirable two bedroom condo is located on the Whiteface Club & Resort property in Lake Placid and is perfect for a family vacation. Our condo has lake access and is within walking distance to the beach, waterfront, marina and 2 great restaurants on site. Walk over to our 18 hole championship golf course, a six clay court Tennis Center (we have racquets and balls to use) or stroll down to the beach for a swim, tan, lunch or boating at the marina. During winter, enjoy the cross-country …skiing or snowshoe facilities at our Nordic Center and direct access to the historic Jack Rabbit trail system. The condo has a queen bed in the master bedroom and two twins and bunk beds in the other, plus TVs in both, two full bathrooms and a fully equipped "pinecone themed" kitchen. The beautifully decorated living room, with a wood-burning fireplace (firewood included), makes it perfect for relaxing and enjoying beautiful views of Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain and the Sentinel Range - you can see the luge and bobsleds runs from our deck and Mount Marcy! In addition, our living room has a comfortable, pull-out sleeper sofa with all bedding included. This spacious 1,280 square foot condo has 10 foot ceilings in the living room/dining room area, hand stenciled wall borders, new bedding, linens, towels to use plus new carpeting and tiling. Enjoy free wireless internet, a high definition LCD TV, 40 DVDs, 20 board games and jigsaw puzzles for great family fun. It has easy walk in/walk out access (no steps) from our private parking lot to this peaceful yet centrally located retreat, perfect for young children (yes, we even have 2 high chairs and a portable crib for your very young ones) or seniors.

This condo is located on Whiteface Inn Lane and is only a five minute drive to the village of Lake Placid and its many wonderful amenities. Shop in the factory outlets in town, tour the various Olympic sites or dine at some of Lake Placid's great restaurants. Ride the chair lift or gondola at nearby Whiteface Mountain, peer down from the 70 or 90 meter Intervale ski jumps or take a bobsled or luge ride at Mount Vanhovenberg. Whiteface Mountain is 20 minutes away for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Excellent dining is available at our golf course restaurant, the Mooselodge Boathouse restaurant (on the water) and all within walking distance. Enjoy lunch by the water's edge or dine while watching the sun set over Lake Placid and its surrounding mountains.

I purchased this unit after 2 years of research and simply loved its beautiful location and nearby amenities.
