The High Peaks area of the Adirondacks offers many activities such as hiking, golfing, biking, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing as well as shopping and fine dining in nearby Lake Placid. This quiet spot is also ideal for that much needed rest and relaxation. Read a book on the deck, take a short walk in the woods, or relax in the whirlpool tub. "Wildwood in the Pines" is located less than 10 miles from Whiteface Mountain and less than 20 miles from the Village of Lake Placid and the Olympic Center Complex. Montreal, Canada and Burlington, Vermont are less than two hours away (great day trips!). The Adirondack Regional Airport is 50 minutes away or international airports are located in Albany, NY, Burlington, VT or Montreal, Canada all about two hours away. |
