Sleeps up to 10 people comfortably.In addition, on the same piece of land, there is a 3-cabin original Adirondack Guiders Camp. 2 of the cabins are for living/sleeping and each have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and enclosed screened porch. The third cabin is a cookhouse with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy eating area and a comfortable relaxation area with sofa, armchairs, TV with DVD player. All 3 cabins have wood burning stoves.Guiders camps such as this are a rarity in the Adirondack Park. It was originally built in the 1920s and is historically known as Garbys Cabins. The camp has recently been completely renovated by local craftsmen and offers a wonderfully authentic Adirondack vacation experience. Camp sleeps 8.The whole site is cradled by woodland and tall pines and offers extreme privacy. Loons, otters, bald eagle and the occasional moose can all be seen on Horseshoe Pond. Look skyward at night for clear views of the Milky Way and magical Northern Lights.The main large cabin, OR the Guiders Camp, may be rented separately but you will be guaranteed sole use of the entire site. If you choose to rent only the large cabin, or only the Guiders Camp, the un-rented part of the property will remain unoccupied. You may also rent the main large cabin AND the Guiders Camp together.
