| "Camp Mac" is located the edge of MacCauley Pond, about 10 minutes from Saranac Lake and 25 minutes from Lake Placid. It is located on 51 acres of land, is very quiet and secluded. The pond is about 40 acres in size and is a great resource for both canoeing and fishing. Motors are not allowed on the pond. With five bedrooms and a large living area, there is plenty of room for your family. There is a large stone fireplace in the living room and wood in provided. There is also a wonderful fire pit outside by the pond where you can cook and have meals or just sit and enjoy the outside. The house comes with a canoe and a row boat and the fishing is terrific for Northern Pike, Large and Small mouthed Bass and Yellow Perch. In the evening you can sit on the raised deck or down at the fire pit and watch the beavers swim in the pond. There are several hiking trails right on the property. We rent year round and these hiking trials become great snowshoe/cross country trails in the winter. We are located about forty minutes from Whiteface Mountain ski Resort. We have all of the amenities that you ould want in a vacation home. There is a complete kitchen, including dishasher and microwave oven. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. There is a television set with a DVR player as well as CD player.
This is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Everything you need is right here. You can experience the best of the Adirondacks. |
