| Enjoy a relaxing stay at a beautiful lakeside cottage in the foothills of the Adirondacks with spectacular views of The Great Sacandaga Lake. Feel right at home in this beautifully accented and custom built three level house with knotty pine walls, ceramic tile floors, cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom, covered porch and large deck with a hot tub. The home is amply equipped with all you need and more. Televisions are located throughout each floor. A stereo system is provided with XM Satellite Radio and speakers are wired on each level and outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and all in excellent condition. The Ice Maker will be turned on and ready to fill your glass for your favorite summer drink. The sink has a filtered water faucet in addition to the standard faucet. The stove and oven are gas. And the amenities go on and on. All you need to bring are food and beverages. The house comfortably sleeps six though having only one official bedroom. The second floor is the master bedroom with a queen bed and a full size futon. A wall partition can be opened allowing privacy for both areas of the room. A second futon is located in the basement game room, allowing for another private sleeping area. Check out the pictures to see each configuration. Walking access to the dock is across the road from the house and down the hill. At the Water: You can moor your boat or Jet Ski on the private deep water dock. There are various boat launch sites on the lake; one most conveniently located is directly across the channel from the dock. The natural wooded path is clearly visible from the house and road. Adirondack chairs are kept near the shore. A hammock is set up for napping to the sound of the water. Or spend your days relaxing on the house decks, all facing the lake. The main deck, on the first level, has patio furniture for dining and lounging. A chiminea is available for roasting marshmallows, warming your toes or simply for ambiance. The hot tub is easily accessible to one side of the deck. Both a gas grill and a charcoal Weber grill are available for the outdoor culinarian. There is also a covered porch on the second level with a swing for two and other chairs for lounging. Rain or shine, there is always a way to enjoy the great outdoors. However, should the weather drive you inside, there are many sitting areas for reading, watching television or having that nap you've been longing for. We stock many books, puzzles, games and movies for your enjoyment. Surrounded by trees, the home is very private. The driveway is private parking with room for two to three vehicles, though not suitable for parking a boat, due to the incline. There is a large flat space across the road for truck and trailer. The property is hilly and most areas have been converted into perennial gardens which attract hummingbirds and bumblebees. The bird life here is wonderful, and feeders are set up around the yard for our little friends to put on a show for you. With so much to offer the area is ideal for exploring the surrounding villages and mountains. There are many activities within minutes for any manner of enthusiast. Information will be made available for the many hiking trails in the area. For more adventure, take a short, thirty minute drive to Broadway in Saratoga Springs, the Saratoga Track or a little further to either Albany or Lake George village.
