Gorgeous views of Indian lake and its historic dam can be seen from 4 main rooms and off of the side deck. Deck has ample room for sitting quietly and listening to the surrounding wild life. There is a picnic table set outside as well as a small table on deck. Dock is settled off of the lake shore where is walks out to great the open waters, perfect for swimming. There is an open fire pit outside as well as a gas grill. A canoe and row boat will be left for the renters along with oars and life jackets. There is additional parking for any extra vehicles or any person who may bring a boat along. Please advise us though, when making your reservations, if you do wish to bring your own boat; to make sure we can accommodate you. Rental boats are available locally. If you bring along your own boat, before launching, please inspect it carefully; and remove any traces of plant life from other lakes. This will help to control the spread of invasive species to Indian Lake Kitchen comes fully equipped with essentials. 3 Bedrooms ( queen, queen, bunk) Living area includes a gas wood stove, large TV with DVD/VCR, and will accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. Although a moonrise may flood the cabin ground with a delightful light, and the star filled skies can be breathtaking, moonless nights can be incredibly dark. Please bring flashlights along with you. Evenings can also be a lot cooler than you might expect. Pack your clothing accordingly. **A deposit of 50% of the cabin rent is required to hold a reservation. Deposits are refundable, minus a $25 service charge, only if notice of cancellation is given in sufficient time that we are able to re-rent the cabin. ** Cabin are rented only by the week (Saturday to Saturday) June until Columbus day and during winter months. ****No extra people are allowed overnight in the cabin. ****No camping/tents are permitted the grounds. **FISHING INFO- To acquire a 7 day fishing license, you will need $25 and an ID (if your out of state). | Cleaning Policy: | The cabin comes ready for you to start your vacation. It will be cleaned thoroughly, organized and presented to you with one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, one scrubbing pad at the kitchen sink .All bathrooms come with a clean mat and towels.All beds each have pillow, blanket , mattress cover and bed linens
When leaving the cabin, it is expected that the renters clean up the mess behind themselves. We do not expect renters to thoroughly clean cabin, but do expect things like dirty dishes to be cleaned by renters before exiting the cabin grounds. All trash must be left in bags and recycling must be properly sorted via trash system on the cabin grounds. Owner will be responsible for disposing of all garbage to the dump accordingly. |
