| "Grammie's Cabin" has 5 generations of love, exciting good times and memories within its four walls. Grandpa built the log cabin in the late 1940's. One bedroom has 2 single beds and the other a full sized bed. The enclosed screen/windowed front porch has a single bed for sleeping at night or lounging in the day as well as 2 Boston rockers. A natural stone fireplace erected in the 1800's provides an ecstatic atmosphere for the great room. Since "Irene 's" recent visit, the chimney did not survive for continued use. After 200 years use, we can no longer use it. Our plans for the fireplace's future is presently uncertain. A visit back in time, our "Cabin" provides VCR movies, many old and interesting board and card games, old, old magazines, 331/3 records going back as far as the 50's, outdoor cooking, room for yard games like Adirondack croquet and relaxing under the singing pine trees or hiking in the woods for wild berries and views or a day at the beach for swimming , boating, or fishing.
We are located in the central part of the 6. million acre Adirondack Park, the largest park in the USA. We are situated to be convenient for day trips as the central portion of the park is also known as the "heart" of the Adirondack Mountains. | Pet Policy: | We offer you the pleasure of bringing the family dog with you rather than leaving him/her at a kennel while you vacation. We will request a nominal fee for the stay and if all is approved after your leave, we will refund your deposit by mail. Be sure to bring your pooper scooper to keep the surroundings clean and green for the next visitor. Pet deposit is $200. |

| Cleaning Policy: | carry in - carry out policy . Our request is that you leave the cabin and surroundings as you find it when you enter. I will do the major cleaning to prepare for the next visitors. |
| Linen Policy: | Bedding and towels will be provided as well as kitchen essentials. |
| Security Deposit Information: | Your good personal check is acceptable. We do not accept credit cards at the current time. A $50. deposit needs to be received within 5 business days after your phone/email reservation is made. Refunds will be made for cancellations received more than three weeks prior to your reservation date (less a 10% service fee). Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. |
