This is a classic Adirondack vacation home with a beautiful view from the fifty foot front porch of awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets over the lake and mountains. The private sandy and shallow beach includes a boat dock, a mooring and a swim platform. The beach is secluded from the roadway by a grassy hill. Come and step back in time to the days of the "Great Camps" with cut Granite fireplace, hardwood zebra oak floors, wainscoting and wood ceilings. This is very a popular rental that easily accommodates large family groups. This rental provides an economical escape for several families to enjoy vacationing together or perhaps one large family to have a reunion. There's plenty of room for kids of all ages both indoor and out. Amenities include phone, cable TV, wireless high speed internet, washer and dryer, complete kitchen with two ranges and ovens (gas/electric) pantry, microwave oven, dishwasher, fireplace, two refrigerators, oil heat, ceiling fans, AC in two master bedrooms. The dining room easily accommodates 12-14 people and has a nice lake view. Also, off the kitchen is a small Game room with a junior pool table, air hockey, foosball and dart board.The Living room is comfortably furnished for relaxing in the evening after a hard day of Swimming and Boating and hiking. Amenities include Internet, Cable TV, DVD/VCR and Sony Playstation. There is a spoacious1/2 Bath off the foyer on the first floor. All six Bedrooms and the 2 full baths are on the second floor. The main bathroom has been professionally remolded with dual vanity and sink, tile walls and new lighting. Four of the Bedrooms have a second floor Lake view; two with Queen size beds, one with a King, and one with two twins. The other two Bedrooms face the backwoods; one with a full size bed and the last sleeps three with a bunk set and a separate junior bed. There is also a rollaway and a portable crib available, when needed. All linens are provided, and guest are asked to strip beds and start laundry at departure. Lake front amenities include sandy beach front, seating, row/fishing boat, canoe, tandem kayak, paddle boat, private dock with "whips", an offshore mooring bouy and a swim raft. The view is a beautiful Western exposure with afternoon sun and sunsets. Schroon Lake is 9 miles long and this property is on the lower East shore. On the North end is the quaint Town of Schroon Lake with free municipal docks, a local marina and a huge Town Beach and Park with entertainment all Summer Long. The Town is accessible by boat or vehicle and everything in Town is just a casual stroll away. Grocery shopping, restaurants,shops, fishing supplies, are available at either Schroon Lake or Chestertown to the South. A public boat launch at the South end of the Lake about 1.5 miles from the house makes for easy launch and return. |

| Cleaning Policy: | Renters are expected to return the LakeHouse to the arrival condition. The owners do have a cleaning crew, however, turnaround time between renters is generally under 4 hours. Should the house need additional cleaners to complete cleaning within the 4 hour window, a cleaning charge of $125 will be deducted from the security deposit. |
| Linen Policy: | Linens are provided at no additional charge. Renters are expected to start the laundering process upon departure. |
| Security Deposit Information: | A security deposit of of $500 in a separate check must accompany the rental payment. Security deposits will be returned in full within one week after the rental provided there are no extenuating circumstances (Damage, additional cleaning, etc.) |
| Rental Rates: | We will be closed after the Winter Holidays. 20102 summer rates will remain as in the previous 10 years at $2,800.00 per week. Multiple week discounts available include $5,200.00/2 weeks and $10,000.00 per month. |
