| This cabin gives you all the comforts of home with quick access to climbing, hiking, skiing, and kayaking. It has a generous back deck for sitting, grilling and watching the sun set in the evening. In the shed there are three kayaks for your use. You can pack a lunch and kayak from Mountain View Lake thru the channel and onto Indian Lake. Or for really great scenery you can paddle for a couple of miles up the Salmon River. There are horseshoes, a croquette set and a hammock for outdoor use and plenty of games, books and movies for when you're inside.
Set in the foothills of the northern Adirondack Mountains, this cozy cabin is located near many attractions in and out of the Adirondacks, Lake Placid (50 minutes), Saranac Lake (40 minutes), Whiteface Mountain/Wilmington (45 minutes), Plattsburgh (50 minutes), and Montreal (75 minutes). The Malone Country Club is located 10 miles away, it features a Trent Jones designed course (36 holes). Beautiful Titus Mountain is about 10 minutes away and it operates a total of 10 lifts. These lifts service 27 trails & 1200 vertical feet of winter fun. You will be a short drive from Paul Smiths College and The Visitor Interpretive Center. This 2,885-acre preserve includes a 60-acre marsh, five ponds, several brooks and swamps. This charming, fully furnished cabin has been recently remodeled. The first floor has an open floor plan with a fully stocked kitchen, dinning area with seating for 6 and living space with futon. Off the kitchen is the bathroom with tub, shower, clothes washer and dryer. There is also one bedroom with a double bed and a sitting room with a (gas) wood stove. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms each with a double bed and sliding doors out to their own private decks. Please remember to bring your passport if you plan to visit Canada. |

| Security Deposit Information: | A $200 security deposit is required at time of reservation.This deposit is refunded within 30 days of departure as long as there is no damage and the cleaning policy is adhered to.
The full rental fee is required 3 weeks in advance of move-in date. If reservation is canceled 3 weeks in advance, the entire $200 security deposit is returned; after that the weekly rental fee will be returned in full, but the security deposit is subject to forfeit. |
| Rental Rates: | 9/11/2011 - 6/01/2012, $750 per week. 6/02/2012 - 9/10/2012, $1150 per week.
Arrival is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, and check out is 10:00 a.m. the following Saturday. Weekends $450.00 with a 3 night min stay, accepted based on availability only. Discounts for multiple weeks. |
