The camp is available at reasonable rates for day, weekends, or weekly rentals including: family reunions, corporate training events / retreats. We offer a spacious multi-purpose Adirondack style dining hall with a gorgeous cathedral ceiling and seating for up to 200 in front of a beautiful river stone fireplace. Camp is able to be used for many things: weddings, receptions, quilting bees, poker runs, snowmobile parties, snowshoeing, a family reunion, a retirement party, a birthday party, a graduation party, an anniversary party, baby showers, staff / management team building exercises, and just ask if your event is not listed for prior approval for use of camp.

Amenities & Features:

The premiere Marjorie Merriweather Post Dining Hall can seat 200 people, an office / infirmary has 3 bunk beds, bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a 14 person bedroom with bunk beds, a commercial kitchen, a walk-in refrigerator, a freezer, a storage room, a delivery receiving room, and a dry half basement.

The Health Lodge sleeps 14 people, 2 bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and sink, a living room that can be used as a bedroom, a refrigerator, a screened porch, & a view of Clear Pond.

Loon Lodge can sleep 14 people with bunk beds, it has a wood stove, electricity, & lights.

The Trading Post can sleep 12 people, it has ceiling lights, a refrigerator, a covered porch, and electricity.

Petty Lodge (The Ranger's House) has 5 bedrooms that sleeps 66 people with bunk beds, lights, a refrigerator, an electric stove, kitchen cabinets for storage, and a living room (water for the kitchen and bathroom and heating are not available in this building at this time).

The Swamp cabin across from the dining hall has electricity, a sink, and it sleeps 5 people.

The camp's total maximum indoor sleeping capacity is141 people using cabins and lean-tos. A maximum of 246 people in 123 two man-tents setup in campsites, plus 141 maximum indoor occupancy rate figure gives a camp wide maximum total occupancy rate of 387 people.

Potable water, restrooms, and showers are available May 1 - October 20th.

10 Campsites: 2 have a 4-Man lean-to; 3 sites have flush toilets; 3 campsites are on the pond; and 7 campsites are in wooded settings.

7 program areas: waterfront {a lifeguard costs extra for swimming}, a multi-purpose covered deck, Nature Den pavilion, Sports Field, and an Archery Range and Rifle Range both require a NRA Certified Range Officer {for an additional fee}. The campsite, Tuscarora can be used for camping or as an activity area.

Incoming phone calls can be received for free, to make a long distance call you will need to use a calling card or credit card. Only local phone calls are free per our calling plan.

There are unmarked nature trails throughout camp. Trail access to the Debar Mtn. Wild Forest Trail to hike or bike is possible from camp.

The camp is adjacent to NYS DEC Boat Launch & the Meacham Lake NYSDEC Beach with lifeguards and a playground.

A Fishing Pier on the peninsula is in view of OA Island, the protected sanctuary of the breeding Common Loons.

The Chapel has 9 benches and can seat 100 people, there is room to setup chairs to seat additional people for an outdoor wedding or event.

The Bridge over Pollywog Pond links The Chapel with the Pennisula Trail to the Fishing Pier and the Health Lodge.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at camp.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is permitted only behind the Stockade fence at the Dining Hall and please dispose properly of any cigarettes or cigars. Smoking is not allowed on any porches or inside any structures and buildings.
Cleaning Policy: The renter is responsible for properly and safely storing their garbage inside of garbage cans in the Petty Lodge Basement storage area facing the left side of the building. All garbage is to be taken with the renter upon departure from camp.
Linen Policy: Kitchen and bathroom towels and bedroom linens are not provided
Security Deposit Information: Call the Council Program Director at 518-869-6436 ext. 34 to discuss the deposit amount per terms of the final contract.
Rental Rates: $300 per day includes these buildings: (Petty Lodge, Loon Lodge, Health Lodge, Trading
Post cabin, The Swamp cabin, & the Dining Hall).

$500 per weekend (a three day) weekend fee includes these buildings: (Petty Lodge, Loon
Lodge, Health Lodge, Trading Post cabin, The Swamp cabin, & the Dining Hall).

$1500 per week includes these buildings: (Petty Lodge, Loon Lodge, Health Lodge,
Trading Post cabin, The Swamp cabin, & the Dining Hall).

The Health Lodge rental fee is $120 per weekend.

The Petty Lodge rental fee is $350 per weekend.

The Dining Hall rental fee is $175 per weekend.

* Seasonally snow plowing may be necessary and this is an additional fee.

* To swim at the waterfront area a lifeguard is required for an extra fee.

* To use the Archery Range or Rifle Range a NRA Certified Range Officer is required for an
extra fee.
