| Awake to the call of the loon as the morning mist lifts off beautiful Beaver Lake. Camp Davis is a private waterfront camp surrounded by white pines, birch, cedar, red maple and hemlock with views of the Lake's unspoiled shoreline. The property includes a two bedroom camp with large screened porch and a separate sleeping lean-to (glassed or screened). The kitchen is well equipped including stainless steel cookware. There is a large stone outdoor fireplace over looking the lake and a cozy fireplace in the main camp. Free WiFi. A new aluminum/cedar dock is easily accessible from the shore for swimming or just for relaxing on the Adirondack chairs. Neighbors are nearby but not in view on any part of the two acre site which is on a cul de sac at the end of a mile long drive. Beaver Lake is a natural lake about 1 mile in length with wild azaleas, blueberries, and groupings of white waterlilies. The Beaver River runs through it and provides interesting canoeing, kayaking and picnicking. It is 19 miles from Lowville and 8 miles from Stillwater. | |
