I want you to love your vacation here as much a I do! 130' of sandy, shallow, warm waterfront, in the calm bay. Star Lake, if you haven't heard, is the Adirondacks best kept secret. Swim, fish, boat and relax on the wrap-around deck...this lake is for sipping your coffee and hearing the sounds of nature around you. With it's unique camps and unpretentious attitude, you will return again and again.

Our camp is family friendly! With a bunked room, toys, and swingset for the children, they will … never be bored should there be a rainy day. This camp boasts a lake-front room with a full bed, the children's room, and a quiet woodsy room complete with a queen Temperpedic. A large kitchen for big family meals and a large table overlooking the lake to enjoy them on. There is a wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights too!

Detached from the camp is an additional sleeping quarters- one full and one queen futon occupy a "mini" lodge complete with 47" flat screen, library, and board games. Turtle Bay Chalet comes equipped with 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a floating dock for sunning- as well as life jackets, floaties, gas grill and a fire-pit.

Each bedroom has a fan, including living room. Basic cable, and Wi-fi included!

In town, there is Coffee Fever for java and light sandwiches, Circle K for fuel and snacks, the Clifton- Fine hospital, Todd's Hardware store and a pharmacy. Just outside of town is Adirondack Rustics (souvenirs and furniture) and UB's Mercantile.

Things to note:
You can refill the propane tank in town, or just a few miles away at UB's Mercantile. This is also the case for your firewood. I try to fill these items periodically for you also.

This property is now getting professionally cleaned due to the recent pandemic. The cleanings take place on FRIDAYS ONLY.
This means that, we are continuing to rent by one-week intervals. Check in's should be no earlier than 3pm on Friday and checkout 10am on the following Friday.
However, I am absolutely willing to work with you on specific dates if you wish should you request more than 7 days. Please reach out to me via email or phone and we can discuss. This is for the courtesy of my dedicated cleaning staff.

Pet Policy: I know it's hard to leave your pet at home- they will be accepted upon discretion. Please, have their medical records updated, fleas and ticks. Pets are an additional fee of $100 per week or $20 a day if less than a week. Owners must keep their animal on the property and CLEAN UP POOPS!
Smoking Policy: Please, no smoking in the home. A must.
Cleaning Policy: We ask that you follow the 'leave no trace' policy. Trash removal after your stay and a light clean would be helpful so I can keep my rates down for all renters. Instructions for the dump station and wipe down are listed in your contract. We thank you for your cooperation.
Cleaning fee is $125. Since Covid, I've hired professional cleaners to sanitize each time to the highest standards. This is for your safety and for others.
*Trash removal is at the town dump 1 mile outside of town. There is a fee, however a bag or two of trash will cost you only a few dollars.
Linen Policy: This is a bring your own linens home. Due to the pandemic, we ask that you bring your own towels, sheets and blankets for sanitary purposes.
