Pet Policy: Renters are not permitted to bring any pets to Ventana Cottage.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Ventana Cottage or on its screened porches or on the general grounds except in the designated area. Your damage deposit WILL be forfeited and you will incur additional charges for cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.
Cleaning Policy: A deposit of $500 is required at the time you sign and return this contract. This must be paid by personal check or money order. This check will not be applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 21 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:
No damage is done to the cabin or its contents, or to the grounds
All trash is placed in sealed trash bags and then in the lidded trash cans provided
All used sheets, pillowcases, towels and dishtowels are placed on the floor in the laundry
Any furniture pieces you may have moved are returned to their original location
No linens or other items provided or displayed in the cabin are lost or damaged
No early check-in or late check-out, unless previously agreed to by both parties
Leave the fridge and cupboards empty of leftover food or condiments
Linen Policy: We supply pillows, blankets, comforters and colorful bedspread ensembles.
You supply sheets pillow cases and towels.
Towels and sheets are available upon request for an additional charge.
Security Deposit Information: Payment of Rental Charges
Rental charges are due in full 30 days prior to your check-in date, and are payable by check or money order. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to the check-in date, rental charges are due, along with a separate check for the $500 deposit, at the time this rental contract is submitted.
Age Requirements/Maximum Occupancy
NO rental will be made to any person under the age of twenty-five, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Any reservations made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money.
The maximum number of overnight guests allowed is 6. If maximum is exceeded, you may be asked to forfeit your deposit.
An administrative charge of $100 will be required on ALL canceled or changed reservations. The $500 deposit will NOT be refunded on cancellations made less than sixty days in advance of the rental date.
