100+ year old 2 story Log Cabin originally built as the residence of the founder of Eagle Bay. Relax in an open great room with sky light and stone fireplace. At the end of the day, retreat to one of three cozy bedrooms located up an open winding staircase. Spend time on the oversized porch overlooking a private corner lot. Start your day on the back patio with a coffee and doughnut from the Doughnut shop just up the street. Enjoy the cool summer nights on a second stone patio with large fir …epit and picnic table. Two full bathrooms, one in the cabin and a second with washer and dryer in an adjacent bunkhouse. We are a short walk down the hill to take advantage of access to the Eagle Bay Private swim area. Located just down the street from the Tavern and the Toboggan Inn and a short drive to Inlet (1.5 miles) or Old Forge (8 miles).

Cleaning Policy: Although we will have the cabin cleaned between guests, we expect you to leave the cabin in the condition you found it. All trash must be removed, refrigerator emptied and wiped down, dishes washed and stored, kitchen and bath wiped down and floors vacuumed.
Linen Policy: You will need to provide your own linens including sheets (4 queen including futon and 1 twin), hand towels, bath towels, washcloths, and beach towels. Pillows, mattress pads, blankets, and kitchen towels will be provided.
Security Deposit Information: A security deposit of $500.00 (payable to secure reservation) will be required and will be returned within 30 days of your departure less any damages, repairs, or excessive cleaning charges. Non refundable in the event of cancelation.

Meet the Owner(s)

About Us: This cabin has been in my family for 40+ years. Prior to that, we rented from the previous owner for 10+ years. In addition to having the privilege of spending my summers here, I have raised my family here as well. While we currently still enjoy it and the area, we decided to open it up for renters for part of the season to allow others to experience a taste of authentic Adirondack life. When not enjoying the cabin there, we live just shy of an hour away and personally maintain the property.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Eagle Bay: Eagle Bay is conveniently located just 8 miles north of Old Forge and 1.5 miles shy of Inlet on 4th Lake. You will find several hiking trails and modest mountain climbs within a very short drive. Both Inlet and Old Forge offer a variety of shopping options as well as many dining establishments to choose from, whether it is wings and Pizza or a fine dining experience that you are looking for.

Why our property is special: As described, our cabin was built by and for the founder of Eagle Bay. As soon as you walk in, you are met with the unmistakable charm of an authentic Adirondack Cabin. It sits on one of the largest lots in Eagle Bay Park and offers both privacy and convenience.
