Tom and Carol's Gore Mountain Hideaway is the Perfect place to get away from it all in the Southern Adirondacks. This is not your average rental property. It was completely remodeled in 2020 with many new features. , Lincoln Log home is classy example of modern Adirondack rustic style, a large open format floor plan and many amenities. The master suite is on the 1st Floor and the other 2 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor with a big bathroom, washer, and dryer as well as a nice loft with a TV and seating.. Nestled in the woods with wild forest and mountain views this place has it all for a great getaway.

My family spent a week at this property in April, as a getaway from NYC. The house is in an ideal location in the Adirondacks and is close to Lake George, Gore Mountain and many other great spots. The house is just as it appears in the photographs. It was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. In addition to taking advantage of the great hiking trails near the house, we made good use of the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and the wood burning stove. We especially enjoyed cooking in the large and well equipped kitchen. The owner and local host are among the very best Ive met via AirBnB. Communication was quick and friendly. It so happened that there was a late season winter storm during our stay and power in the region briefly went out. During that time they went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed to continue enjoying our stay. I would recommend this property, without hesitation, to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in the Adirondacks

Great bedding, towels, and plenty of firewood to keep you feeling pampered and warm, await. We have tried to think of everything to make your experience fun and comfortable. The outside features a huge front deck with mountain views, just below you will find a campfire area and 5 private acres of woods with no close neighbors. There's a large well-appointed gourmet kitchen with big granite counters, nice sitting area, and plenty of room to spread out. The home features smart TVs and Wi-Fi throughout. You can enjoy streaming your favorite shows or work remotely. Everything here is high quality, and you will find everything you need to make your stay memorable. Outside you will hear little more than birds and the breeze in the trees. Nature is all around you all the time here in the Adirondacks. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screen porch or deck and watch the woods come to life. At night you can see more stars than you have ever seen right from the deck or by the campfire! You may see deer or hear owls and many birds in this wooded setting. with no close neighbors. Located in Johnsburg NY. just 1 1/2 hours from Albany and 4 hours from Manhattan or Boston. The nearest town is North Creek, about 15 minutes away, with grocery store, liquor store, many restaurants, and galleries. There are hundreds of hiking trails, 3000 lakes and rivers. It is 10 minutes from Gore Mountain and 25 minutes from Garnet Hill Ski center. Garnet Lake is 10 minutes away. Bring your canoe or kayak and paddle this amazing lake with miles of state land adjoining the Siamese Ponds and Silver Lake wilderness areas over 220,000 acres. About Us: Carol and I are retired Motel owners. We owned and operated a Couples Retreat for 20 years. We recently sold the retreat and moved to the Adirondack Park. We purchased 2 Hi-end home and transformed them into luxury mountain rentals. We traveled for 15 years looking for our mountain retreat and now we are ready to share them with you. Why we think you will enjoy staying in Johnsburg: We have 2 spectacular homes for you. The first home, Linger Longer Lodge is located on 50 private acres at the end of a long driveway. We have just updated everything into a hi-end rental. It has a swimming pond, gazebo, fireplace, firepits and gorgeous mountain views. 15 minutes to Gore Ski Resort. The second home is Tom and Carols Gore Mountain Hideaway. This is a spectacular 3000 sq ft Lincoln Log Home on 5 private acres. Mountain views from the large deck. 10 minutes to Gore Ski Resort.

Why our property is special: Read this review from our very first guest. This is a wonderful home and sits on a totally private and beautiful piece of property. We were the 1st guests, and the house did not disappoint for a winter stay. As soon as we pulled up, we felt right at home with snow all over the property, and a rack of firewood welcoming us. We ran the fireplace each day and it warmed the living room very well which also had a smart tv with Netflix, Disney, amazon allowing us to watch some family movies.
