The master bedroom has french doors overlooking the waterfront with a small sitting porch where you can enjoy a good book or your morning coffee. Cabin boasts a large kichen/ dining area with a large handmade slab wood table with log legs with seating for 8. Dining area has a stone, gas fireplace. The breakfast bar on the island seats 4. Stove is built in to the island. The kitchen also has side by side fridge, microwave, dishwasher and many other amenities. Laundry area off kitchen inudes full size front load washer and dryer. Enter back side of the Lodge onto a beautiful post and beam roofed porch. Walk into a rustic mudroom with a bench and large closet. Also slate heated floor. The great room has 22' vaulted ceiling finished in tongue and groove pine. The room has log walls and hardwood floors. The room also boasts a floor to ceiling stone, gas fireplace with a rustic wood mantle. Double french doors leading out to a large post and beam roofed porch. Perfect area to enjoy our Amish made rockers , de-stress and possibly hear the majestic call of the loons. Proceed off this porch onto a stamped concrete patio where outdoor table with umbrella and 6 chairs is located. Also enjoy firepit from this area. The property also has a boathouse with extra sleeping for extra fees. There is a large break wall where there is ample space for boat docking. There is a nice flat lawn area where you can enjoy your outdoor games. Return back inside, off the great room is the 1st floor bedroom with queen log bed and cherry dresser and closet. 1st floor bathroom right beside this room with a tub/ shower unit, cherry vanity with double sinks and granite top. There is a small bar situated under the stairs in the great room. There is also a dart board and Pac-Man game in this area. Continue up a beautiful staircase with ash steps and log rails with bkack wrought iron spindles 2nd floor overlooks great room. 2nd floor bedroom has cherry dresser, queen log bed, large closet, ceiling fan and hardwood floors. 2nd floor bathroom has cherry linen and vanity with single sink and granite top, tile floors and single shower stall. Come relax and enjoy our beautiful Lodge as much as we do!!!

About Us: The owners are Gary and Jill Seelman. We have 2 daughters and 5 grandsons. We have been married for 40 years. Gary is a self employed home builder. He has been in business for 34 years. Jill has been self employed also for many years and has been employed with the Holland Patent school district for the last 6 years. We purchased this property in 2017 and completely gutted and remodeled the entire camp. Everything is new, rustic and beautiful.
Why we think you will enjoy staying in First Lake: Old Forge is a great area for tourists. Pretty much anything that anyone would want to do is right at your fingertips. Great for a relaxing getaway and you don't have to go far to do many activities. The Adirondack Mountains are spectacular and they have been in our hearts since we were kids.
Why our property is special: I guess the best thing is that it is waterfront property. Great spot for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing and just relaxing. If you get groceries before you come, you literally would never have to leave.
