“Perfect week at the Mooney Camp, which is well equipped, super clean, cozy and quiet. The beds are super comfortable too. We fished...ALOT!...and the row boat that Brendan provided us was fantastic...it's nice and roomy! I actually got to see a loon right next to us on the lake...I've always heard them, but never saw one up close. We were also greeted by our chipmunk and red tailed squirrel friends, oh and saw a couple of deer too! We had outdoor and indoor fires and took little walks back and forth to the lake. We had dinner at OP Fredericks close by and breakfast at the Adirondack General Store. Thank you Brendan, so much!”

“Barbara and husband Paul are " repeat customers" . Needless to say they love it. They take advantage of preseason and post season discounts where we have a policy of leave as u find it with no professional cleaning.

“Had a wonderful time in this well-equipped cabin! It was spacious, had lots of nooks and crannies for sitting and relaxing (including a mini-sauna!) and Brendan was a great host. It was clean and had all the kitchen items we needed to cook and eat comfortably. The short walk to the small beach was worth it; the shallow shore perfect for my 2 1/2 year old. Guests came in and out easily from the Albany train station 1 1/2 hrs away. I definitely recommend this cabin!”

“We had a lovely long weekend at the Mooney Camp! There were many lovely things to do in the area-- we had an outdoor day of cross country skiing, and walking by the lake. Another day we spent indoors by the fire. The camp is clean, well-maintained, and very warm and comfortable, especially for a couple of city girls! There are lots of board games and there is ample space for different people doing different activities. The sauna was a lovely treat! There is a beautiful screened-in porch that we enjoyed, and the decor is really charming. We were able to cook delicious meals and enjoy them by a warm fire at the long dinner table. It was a relaxing and restful weekend in an ideal Adirondack cabin. We will be back again soon! I want to experience it in the summer!”

“Our stay at "The Mooney Camp" was a wonderful experience. The cabin was large, cozy, and very "homey." Six adults slept comfortably. The fireside, lake, and peaceful location was just what we were looking for. A big plus...it was clean! The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and relaxing! Great time!!”

“What a beautiful stay at the cabin. Listening to loons from the front deck was wonderful. The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. The cabin is located on beautiful Friends Lake and the view from the (lakes right) dock is gorgeous and just 2 minutes away. We really loved the location. Everything we needed was right in the cabin. Take a short ride to Chesterttown and try the ice cream and pies. Can't wait to go back.”
