“Fabulous time at Franks Place.This cabin is truly only steps away from the lake. Coffee on the screened in porch watching a few early fishermen trolling by was a peaceful beginning to a wonderful day.The dock extends onto the lake for easy access for swimming. There are steps leading to a sandy lake bottom.The hosts encourage you to enjoy sunning on the Splash Island float or fishing off the dock. The cabin was clean and well stocked with kitchen needs. The bathroom is new with a stall shower. This location is on the beautiful uncrowded calm area of Lake George yet less than an hour drive for a day in Lake George Village. A great place to stay if you are looking for a true Adirondack experience for a family or couples get away.”

“Very lovely,peaceful location on lake. Owners are very hospitable and are there to assist you with any information or needs. Owners are very familiar with this area of upstate NY. Enjoy swimming,fishing and camp fires. Would highly recommend either cabin.
”

“I always stay in Sherwood for the 2 weeks I rent yearly. This environment is such a relaxing place to spend my vacation! The lake offers swimming, fishing, and boating, there are trails for hiking near by, or short ferry rides to Vermont for shopping. This location is ideal for someone who wants to get away but at the same time be close to a variety of fun activities. Campfires almost every night for story telling, and of course smores! Its Right on the lake! There is no other spot on the lake where the water is so calm and peaceful every morning when you wake up. It gives you the true Adirondack experience. I am now looking forward to my 7th year returning to this wonderful get away on the lake with my family.”

“Our stay in the Sherwood Camp was delightful! The camp was clean, cozy and filled with warmth. The fully functional kitchen allowed us the opportunity to either eat in or dine out. The dock was available for watching the lake, water skiers, and boats. The crystal clear water allowed one to see the sandy bottom. Our hosts arranged nightly campfires were we all sat around telling stories, singing songs, and getting to know our fellow renters. We took day trips to surrounding attractions such as: Blue Ridge and Buttermilk Falls, Bolton's Landing, The Natural Stone Bridge & Caves, Fort Ticonderoga, and Valley Chapel.
Our experience with this rental was beyond compare. We would highly reccomend this destination for your vacation.”
