Great wraparound deck and screened sitting porch. Plenty of parking, and a machine shed for winter rentals. Wildli …fe abounds at Camp Harvest Moon. You will awake to the sound of Loons from the Narrows across the road. Deer come to visit several times a day. The chipmunks and squirrels are constantly at play in the woods, and if you're lucky you may see a bear. (From a safe distance of course).

“I want to thank Mike and Cheryl, for a fantastic week!!! My family of 4 loved it!! Less then 3 min drive to center of town. House was clean and spacius. Lots of deer right in the yard, that my kids loved to watch from the outdoor deck. Every morning my wife and I would sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and enjoyed the weather and view. I had some questions throughout the week, and sent Mike an email and he responed within hours (really great communication throughtout the entire process). Old Froge is a great family vacation - here's a view things my family did that were all no more then 5 min from the house - (Enchanted Forest Water Safari , fishing at the lake, boat rental, mccauley mountain, Strands Movie (on the one rain day we had). The house is also within min to some great restaurants like the Old Mill, Steak House, Slickers and more. I would definitely rent this house again. Thanks again and looking forward to renting from you again. ”

“Camp Harvest Moon is very comfortable and inviting. Just 5 minutes from Old Forge and about 15 minutes to Inlet taking the South Shore road makes it easy to get to shopping, water Safari Park and my favorite --Eighth Lake Camp-ground beach. My husband and I wanted some quiet time and privacy and this location had both. ”

“My family and I had the absolute best vacation! The house is beautiful, located on a peaceful, secluded lot. We enjoyed the fire-pit nearly every night, and had the opportunity to see ample wildlife over the course of our stay. The furnishings and decor are very lovely, and the kitchen is well-appointed. We had such a great time that we plan to return next year. ”

“We stayed for a week in July. What a beautiful house! Very clean. It is very close to Old Forge and convenient to buy groceries and lots of other things to do. It was like a home away from home. Loved the screened porch. The deer and babies were right outside the bedroom window in the morning. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Camp Harvest Moon is a lovely property, equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!). It is located in a great location just outside Old Forge, so it is convenient for the town, but is however lovely and peaceful. There are lots of activites available in the area, horseriding, boating, mountain biking and hiking all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owners were always happy to answer questions and give advice about the area and were very helpful and friendly. It was a great ending to our 3 week trip of the US, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. ”

“Your home far exceeded all our expectations. It is beautifully decorated and we all felt at home. The location was perfect - not too far away and not too close to town. We saw deer, turkey and many other little creatures. The kids had a blast and are already talking about next year. Thank you for opening up your home and helping us create such happy memories!”

“Beautiful house, extremely clean and cozy! We have rented different homes in Old Forge over the past 4 years for ski season and this has been the nicest place by far. The owners couldn't be nicer and more accommodating! We will definitely rent it again next year! Thank you!!! ”

“This property is beautiful and very well maintained. It is apparent that the owner takes great pride in ensuring the guests comfort. The property is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, is modern yet gives you that great Adirondack feel. Didn't get to see any bears but the deer were abundant. Our family enjoyed every minute of our trip and will definitely be back to Camp Harvest Moon. ”

“This place was amazing! I loved staying here. The house is wonderful and clean. It is in the woods but close enough for everything we wanted to do in Old Forge. We were able to use kayaks and a canoe that were on the property which was great. This was the first time I stayed in Old Forge for a week and it was a wonderful experience!”

“Camp Harvest Moon is a wonderful place to stay. It is your slice of heaven, even if it is only for a week. The house was immaculate and beautiful inside and you can tell that the owners take pride in their home. It has a great adirondack feel to it and is very homey and comfortable. The screened in porch is a great place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee and the deck is beautiful. You can sit out and just enjoy the piece and quiet in this beatifully wooded area. The house is about a 20 minute walk to town or a 5 minute drive, so you are close enough to town to enjoy the shops and restaurants and far enough way to enjoy your privacy and peace and quiet. This is a great place and we loved it there. Another stay is in our future.”

“We have rented many times in this area over the past 20 years. Camp Harvest Moon is by far the best place we have stayed. It is the first camp we rented that is the entire package. Location is great! We were minutes from Old Forge and all it offers. Shopping, dining, night life and a beautiful public beach with available boat docking. Yet when we choose to relax at the camp, it is in total serenity. The huge wooded lot gives privacy and the link to nature that is the essence of the A.D.K.'S. Perhaps the best part of the camp is the total comfort inside. Harvest Moon Camp is the best furnished and equiped camp we have rented. It is a very comfortable place to enjoy a wonderful Adirondack vacation. I know we will be spending many more times at Harvest Moon Camp.”
