Welcome to Hillside Chalet.

This secluded Adirondack Getaway is nestled in the Lake Francis estate, surrounded by hundreds of acres of private lands and lake, which have been in our family for three generations.

Hillside Chalet was built 2005 as an Adirondack style chalet with three bedrooms, a loft, living room, dining room, modern kitchen and a huge vaulted ceiling. There are two full bathrooms, a walk out basement game room, large wraparound deck with charcoal grill, outdoor chairs, ta …ble and chase lounges for just relaxing or outdoor dining. There is also an outdoor fire ring for roasting marshmallows and telling stories around the camp fire.

There is also a washer and dryer on site, row boat with life jackets, pool table, telephone, satellite TV and DSL internet.

Take in the sights, sounds and smells of the great Adirondacks, and marvel at the billions of stars in the Adirondack night sky.

The private lake front/ access is just a short walk (1000 feet), or you can drive down and enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and exploring the islands on the lake. This is a natural lake and gasoline motors are not permitted.

This is a year round home and only rented in the spring, summer and fall seasons due to the distance from the main road.

The perfect mix of Adirondack Charm and modern amenities.

Linen Policy: Bring your own towels and linens.

Security Deposit Information: Refundable security/ cleaning deposit of $200 will be returned after departure of home in same condition as arrival.

About Us: We are third generation owners of this beautiful land at Lake Francis, I grew up spending much time on this lake swimming, fishing and boating and walking up and down the roads. I have been so lucky to have this to share with our two sons (4 generation) and would like to share it with you also.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Indian Lake: A warm and cozy home within the rustic central Adirondacks with so much to do and explore, or you can just do nothing at all.
