“This studio basement apartment had all the amenities and was very clean. The location on lower Lake Champlain was beautiful. But the best part was meeting my host Octavio. He went out of his way to make sire I was comfortable. Thanks, Octavia...and I enjoyed the cucumber and tomatoes you gave me on the way out the door.”

“My husband and I are avid kayakers. We have stayed at Pura Vida a week or two for the last four summers as a base from which we have paddled most of lake Champlain, right from the shore or by driving to a put in on the NY or VT shores.
The location is perfect due to proximity to the Lake Champlain bridge. The village of Crown Point offers a library and ice cream- vacation essentials!! There are even placing to explore when it is too windy or rainy to paddle. The accomodations are wonderful, spacious, clean and private, All appliances, facilities in working order and the studio is beautifully decorated.
You wake up to a great view of the lake. Octavio is the perfect host, friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable about local wildlife and plants. Highly recommend!”
