| Relax once in the gorgeous glass and knotty-pine sun room overlooking the serene northern end of Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains and you will never want to leave. Or relax on the new synthetic 44 foot deck. Located on a dead-end street on a 5 MPH zone of the lake, this is a spacious, clean and comfortable "home away from home" which was just redecorated this year. It's well appointed and all inclusive. At the end of a barely sloping lawn, the water is ankle deep at shoreline and four foot depth at the end of the 40 foot dock. The sand and clay lake bottom warms up faster than the rocky, deep drop offs further south where you can go from 0 to 80 feet deep in just a few steps from shore. It's safer for small children and non-swimmers. Take a relaxing ride on the lake in our two canoes, two sit on top kayaks and a 14 foot row boat. The kayaks and canoes are models picked for their great stability and ease of handling by inexperienced sailors. All come with boat cushions and life jackets. Or bring your own boat and moor it on your side of our dock complete with electric. The free public boat launch is just a five minute drive away as well as a commercial marina. Go out on the northern basin of the lake and water ski, Jet Ski, sail or cruise. With 33 miles of lake with water so pure you can safely drink it, you won't run out of space or breathtaking scenery. You can ride to Fort William Henry in Lake George Village. Park at the metered public docks and enjoy a day in the Village. Our driveway accommodates six cars. Need more room? Park your car and boat trailer in our additional parking lot across the street. In the evening, enjoy premium cable TV, DVD/VHS and CD players and a stereo. The desk top computer offers high speed internet with a printer so you can print your itinerary for the next day or check email. Call your friends and family anywhere in the continental USA or Canada for free. Please use your cell phone for calls outside of this area. Enjoy the foosball table, board and card games, or just read a book. Loosen up those sore muscles in the spa before retiring for a great night's sleep in the pure Adirondack air. Or if it gets too hot, just turn on the central air. You'll love the two new full bathrooms. The master bath has dual Corian sinks with lighted vanity mirrors and plenty of AC outlets. Linens and towels (except beach towels) are provided. Relax knowing that the whole house back-up generator will run as needed for an uninterrupted supply of power. Enjoy a cook out on our gas grill or outdoor fire pit down by the water's edge. Cook your catch of the day. Lake George has salmon, huge lake trout, bass, perch, pike, pan fish and catfish. Or try one of our Adirondack streams for great fly fishing. Make a gourmet meal in our well-appointed kitchen or make reservations at one of our many fine local restaurants. There's plenty of lawn furniture for family picnics. Bring you bikes for our great biking trails or just take a hike. This is the 252nd anniversary of the battle for Fort Carillon (later called Fort Ticonderoga). The fort has tours and demonstrations of fort life in the 18th century. Our home actually sits on the British Encampment area where they prepared for this battle! Activities abound for every season. This stunning home is strategically located for maximum access to the Adirondacks best attractions; Lake George, Lake Champlain, the High Peaks, Lake Placid, Schroon Lake, Lake George Village, Great Escape, Ausable Chasm, and Vermont.
