“This is truly the most fabulous "cabin" we have ever rented. It is spacious, wonderfully appointed, large bedrooms with comfortable beds, super gas stove for those chilly mornings, fully stocked kitchen and the best part? A spectacular western view - so the sunsets will absolutely wow you. The house is situated on the quiet end of Lake Abanakee, with terrific paddling opportunities right outside your door. Loons, otters (yes!), heron - the wildlife sightings are endless. The owner has thought of everything anyone could want while vacationing in the Adirondacks. No roughing it here! ”

“wow - we just spent our 35th anniversary at this wonderful cabin and we will never forget the memeores. the listing pictures are exactly what to expect when you rent the cabin, the place is beautiful and very comfortable. the amenities do not list (and should) that the cabin is also fully stocked with the basic paper supplies, dish and cleaning detergents and laundry supplies. the bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms more than ample. the kitchen has all you will need to enjoy any cabin cooked meals we enjoyed the kayaks and the boat - just perfect for the wonderful lake and the sunsets, the cabin faces west so those were out of this world as you can tell I can't say enough of how nice this place was - and away from others and very quiet - love those loons! Indian lake has some nice restaurants, a local bar, good gas station and great hardware store with everything but food! a Tops grocery store is in North Creek just a 17 mile trip and another nice town to visit all in all, I hope I can finagle a way to get back some day - it was special experience - and by the way, one teriffic host!!”
