This cozy Adirondack cabin (camp), named "Little Spruce" has recently been completely renovated and will accommodate up to 5 people.
This peaceful Camp is located in the heart of the Adirondacks and sits on a 1 acre parcel. There is a large flat yard and a fire pit area is available to roast marsh mallows and to star gaze on those clear cool summer (and even winter) evenings. Enjoy relaxing or eating your meals in the spacious screened in porch. The Camp is within easy strolling distance to t …he Speculator Town Center and many shops and eateries as well as the public beach and pavilion. Camp Of The Woods and Oak Mountain Ski Area are also both less than a mile away.
Hiking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, bird watching and even caving activities are all within a short drive from the Camp. In the winter, access to the town and NY State trails systems is easily made from the Camp and there is amble room for trailers and sleds.

$250 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking; balance is required two months prior to your stay. Bookings are secure once deposit payment has cleared. A $125 cleaning fee will also be required and please read the cleaning policy for more information.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted to be housed or permitted to enter within the home at anytime.

Smoking Policy: No smoking within the home or in the screened porch area at anytime.

Cleaning Policy: A cleaning service will clean the cottage upon your departure and a cleaning fee of $125 will be charged (not included in rental fees). The tenants however must strip all beds that were utilized and the linens and towels are to be left in the laundry room/ bathroom. . All dishes and utensils are to be washed and placed back in their proper location. All floors are to be broom swept and garbage cans in kitchen and baths are to be emptied and placed in trash cans.

Linen Policy: Linens and towels are provided. Towels are to be hung on the hooks provided behind the bedroom door or in the loft area. Upon leaving all beds, that were utilized, are to be stripped and the linens and towels are to be left in the laundry room (bathroom).

Security Deposit Information: $250 Security Deposit. This is refunded within 10 days of departure assuming no damage to home, property, or contents. $100 will be kept if the cabin is not left in a broom swept condition upon departure.( details in rental agreement)

About Us: The Village of Speculator (actually a Hamlet) is in the heart of the Southern Tier of the Adirondack Park. Speculator is within the Town of Lake Pleasant which is the County Seat for Hamilton County. This region is fantastic for all activities throughout the year and the Village has a great family feel. The Village is the gateway to the Northern Tier of the Adirondacks and is a stepping off point to the great adventures that await you when you venture literally minutes up the road.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Speculator: Little Spruce is a completely renovated cabin that provides plenty of room for everyone. The Camp sits within strolling distance to everything the Village has to offer. The cabin has a large fully appointed kitchen, private master bedroom and a large upstairs room for the children/ guests. The living room is very comfortable with leather furniture and a large smart TV and Fios Wifi. Enjoy using the large flat property for outdoor games or a large picnic.

Why our property is special: "Little Spruce" in combination with another owner property "Towering Pines" would provide the perfect location for multi family gatherings or events. The proximity of the two properties affords a fantastic opportunity also for a Wedding Party to use both properties for their preparation and celebration. Just open the door and begin to enjoy your vacation!
