“My family and I stayed at "The Lake House" in September and can not say enough about this lovely cabin. Raquette Lake has been our vacation spot for decades so we are pretty picky about where we stay to ensure we get the true lake experience that we have come to love. This rental did not disappoint, the location is perfect and the house is convenient without losing the warm Adirondack feel. I highly recommend "The Lake House" for your next Adirondack vacation, you will not want to leave!”

“What an absolute pleasure to stay at the Lake House. The cabin is clean and has all the modern amenities and the location on Raquette Lake itself is ideal. Fairly close to town and boasts beautiful views of the lake from every room- particularly the master bedroom. Quite a treat to wake up in there and see the fog rolling off the mountains every morning. The deck and bbq were a great spot to have dinner every evening after happy hour on the dock. We have a 3 year old son and he was delighted by the dock, canoeing, toys, ping pong table Etc. The outdoor fire pit is also nice to make smores and enjoy the stars at night. The lake house has it all and we already cant wait to come back. The owners are lovely, accommodating and genuine. You cant go wrong renting this house- a true Raquette Lake gem!!!! Thank you!”

“This was the second consecutive year we stayed at the Lake House and it did not disappoint! The hosts are great to work with, quick and efficient to set everything up. The house itself is clean and very well kept. Both times the windows were open and the house was fresh and inviting. The amenities are all as described, having full access to a washer and dryer for a lake vacation is AMAZING. Make sure you bring food/condiments etc as the pickings are slim in Raquette Lake. We also brought black out curtains for the master bedroom, the lake view is AMAZING but so is sleeping in. Our favorite part of the house is the wrap around deck, tons of space for the whole family to relax, eat, play games etc. We highly recommend this property and cant wait to go back. ”

Reference the master bedroom , at the beginning of the season we installed CORDLESS black out shades. The shades are adjusted manually from the bottom and work perfectly. It was unnecessary to bring a shade.”

“I have been going to Raquette Lake for over 30 years and cannot believe how lucky we were to find this gem of a rental property. Located just past the village, "The Lake House" is in the perfect spot for your vacation, whether traveling by boat or by car. We arrived to meet the owners, who are lovely by the way, for an introduction and a tour of the property. This house is in immaculate condition and feels as if it is brand new. We had everything we needed for the week and plenty of space for our party, which consisted of two families with young kids under 3. I could go on and on about this property, but simply put, this is a perfect spot for vacation and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back for many years. FYI, the pictures are incredibly accurate. ”

“We loved our stay at The Lake House at Raquette Lake! The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Terrific location right on the water. We used the Weber gas grill (new, clean) and ate dinner on the deck. We also made good use of the kitchen with its newer appliances and ample cooking utensils. We have zero complaints. The owners generously left us a bottle of wine and lots of useful information about local dining and activities. When we had a question about the showers, the owners were very responsive and helpful. The resident hummingbirds provided nice company while we ate breakfast looking out at the water. The property is open and sunny and obviously well cared for. We rented a pontoon boat from Burke's Marina and enjoyed a fantastic week of tubing, fishing, swimming and hanging out at Raquette Lake. Would love to return next summer. Great experience. Highly recommended!

“The Lake House has everything you need for a relaxing time in the Adirondacks. Located on a calm cove near the end of the road, it was a perfect starting point for a morning paddle, and a short drive( by ADK standards) to a number of nice hikes. The owner were always responsive to any emails or texts, making sure we were comfortable in camp.
The house itself has everything we needed and was sparking clean and dust free. The bedding had all been laundered immediately before our arrival.
We look forward to staying at the Lake House again.”

“We had a lovely stay on Raquette Lake. The waterfront is beautiful, and the owners furnished dock furniture and floats. The house itself is very clean and comfortable, with nice furniture, great internet/TV access and a beautiful lake view from the master bedroom. The deck is ideal, with a big picnic table and new grill. The owners are very considerate and helpful and really eager for you to have a great time at their property. The house is not too big, three bedrooms and all on one floor, so is suitable for smaller groups of up to six, or maybe you could have eight if the owner agreed. It's not cheap in high season, but you are paying for a fantastic waterfront spot on one of the most beautiful Adirondack lakes, only a short drive from picturesque Raquette Lake Village. There are loads of great hikes in the area. ”

“"The Lake House" was perfect...cozy, but roomy enough, very clean and stocked with all the basics you'll need on a lake vacation. The caretaker was extremely gracious, which made for an easy stay. Out in the shed there were beach toys, paddle board, canoe, fishing pole...but honestly, nothing beats simply hanging out on the dock and gazing at beautiful Raquette Lake!

“What a terrific stay at a terrific location. The home is beautifully situated in a modest and quiet cove yet still in the main part of Raquette Lake. There were four of us with enough room to spread out for a small space. The owners are charming and helpful as needed. The house itself has new furniture and amenities including some nice water toys. There are other ways to stay on Raquette but this house is a great blend of easy to access, quiet and comfortable while being close to town. We're looking forward to our next stay.”
