“Our family rented the first floor property for a last minute booking on Labour Day weekend. From the initial phone conversation with John (the owner) to getting our deposit back (just a week later), he has been accommodating, responsive and easy to deal with. We were even given extra few hours to vacate the property as there was no booking the following day. The property is clean, well looked after, and very comfortable. It even looks better, more spacious and brighter than it looks in the photos! It is very well positioned to all what Lake Placid has to offer. Our favourite is being able to walk to the quaint village of Mirror Lake with all the restaurants, bars and water sports rentals. Will definitely recommend to others!”

“We stayed at this property for a long weekend. The owner was a very amiable fellow to deal with. He has a very nice setup in this apartment. All the basic amenities are provided for. In years of vacation rentals I have not come across such niceties as John provides freely. From a welcome bottle of wine to a well stocked fridge, one doesnt have to run to the store right upon arrival. One can tell that this house is well organized, lived in and cared for, and not just a rental management company. Little things like a tiny telescope right by the window to a bottle opener on the porch. Everything has been thought through. We absolutely loved the views from this property that can be taken in from the living room to the bathroom. Its a shame that the jaccuzi/bath wasnt functional, otherwise that would be experience by itself. Proximity to town/restaurants a huge bonus. As is ample parking space. Bring your adventurous spirit, the mountains beckon. Highly recommended!”

“To John and his wife Chris I had a wonderful time in your rental property it was a beautiful home and wonderful views and very easy to access walking to town maybe they'll be a next year and we could stay there again thank you for your hospitality and have a wonderful summer”
