Pet Policy:
Due to allergy issues, we cannot allow pets. If you are found to be in violation of this policy, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately without refund.
Smoking Policy:
Smoking is not permitted inside the home anywhere at any time, Ample receptacles are provided to eliminate cigarette and cigar butts for those who choose to smoke outdoors, in order to keep the lawn clean and free of butts. If you are found to be in violation of this policy, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately without any refund, and you will forfeit return of your security deposit.
Cleaning Policy:
Cleaning fee is an additional $200. For weekly rental, the cleaning fee will be waived.
A cleaning service is used in between each occupant, carefully maintaining strict adherence to COVID cleaning procedures. You are, however, expected to leave the home as you found it. Please take care of your dirty dishes, and clean your food items out of the refrigerator.
All trash is to be disposed of prior to vacating the premises. If you leave trash for us to dispose of, part of the security deposit will be kept. Current transfer station hours will be posted inside the cabin for you. Transfer station is conveniently located up the road from the cabin.
Linen Policy:
All sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, dishtowels, etc are supplied within the home for your use. Please strip sheets off of all beds, and place used towels in a pile in front of the washing machine before departure. Leave pillow and mattress protectors on the beds at all times, and do not remove at any time for any reason.
Security Deposit Information:
A security deposit of $500 will be charged and kept if any damage is to occur in the house. If there is no damage, garbage left, etc your deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days after your departure.

About Us: Pat is sales and design director for a truss company and volunteer football coach. Gina is director of a non profit that provides hospice care. Divorced with 5 children between us, we fell in love with each other and the Adirondacks. We surround ourselves with friends and family and live each day to the fullest. Upstate New York is home and this cabin is our legacy for our children and their children to enjoy. Welcome to our paradise. We hope you create wonderful lasting memories here.
Why we think you will enjoy staying in Old Forge: This is majestic country with so much to see and do no matter what your taste. For those who are active, water sports, snow sports, and hiking provide endless opportunities. If you want to relax, you are also in luck! Old Forge is family friendly, safe, and offers a break from the "busy-ness" of our lives. Adirondack fresh air is the best for breathing and sleeping. With main street shops, restaurants, a theater, mini golf, water park, and museums boredom isn't an option.
Why our property is special: We are proud to own this cabin. After months of looking and the disappointment of a failed purchase, we walked into the home of our dreams. It is spacious providing many places for people to gather, yet cozy and intimate. While close to town activity, once inside you're in your own private corner of the world. The woodwork and high ceilings are stunning and we've repainted and furnished to create spaces that are beautiful and warm. We want our house to feel like your home while you're here.
