“Joe, Thanks for the use of your Adirondack home rental. We have been staying in the Old Forge area for the last 25 years or so. This place has been one of our favorites. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and then some. The lake access rights and the fact you could walk to the village was great. It was a wonderful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. “Beautiful home !! We weren't disappointed , looked just like the pictures. Super close to Old Forge. But you won't know it sitting on the covered deck . The owner was very nice to deal with , quick response time . They thought everything there ! You just need to go and enjoy. Perfect location for all Adirondack activities , but nice enough you won't mind if it rains ! ”

“We stayed in this lovely cabin for Labor Day weekend. It was a beautiful home surrounded by woodlands and easy access to a smal private beach and boat dock. Our family relaxed, went boating, shopped in town and ate at a great restaurant. We definitely recommend this place and we will. Definitely be back again! ”

“Unique and fun place to stay in Old Forge! Tons of room - with lots of nooks and crannies on each of three floors. This gorgeous, remolded cabin is spotless (and for those of us who like to "pretend we are camping, but don't really want to - this is a requirement!) has more than enough space for a decent sized family to spread out, get away from each other and have their alone time, or gather together, eat, play games and sit by the fire out back. The upper deck is incredible - and the cabin is stuffed with extras to enjoy on a rainy day. Owners are easy to contact and make every effort to kindly inform you of upcoming dates and times and any other info you might need. Highly recommend!”

“We stayed again at Northern Exposure and had a wonderful week. The cabin is very cozy, clean and comfortable. We love the deck off the living room and spent time out there every day. Got to hear the loons in the morning as they came up the channel. Very conveniently located, close to everything but on a fairly quiet street. Great firepit with plenty of chairs. Will certainly be back again!”

“I would highly recommend renting this cottage. The owners were friendly and great at communicating. The cottage was very spacious and modern- very clean and up to date. There is a fire pit off to the side, and a huge porch that was perfect to relax on. We loved being able to launch our boat and go swimming. We definitely look forward to renting again. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Northern Exposure. The weather did not cooperate for the snowmobile trip we had planned, but the rental home provided us with everything we needed to still have a wonderful time. We loved the covered elevated deck, and fire pit. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Keep in mind this rental has a lot of stairs, which was a little difficult for one in our group who has bad knees. The location is great for a short drive to town, possible walk in the summer months. Communication with the owner was great and check in and out was a breeze. We would definitely consider renting again in the future! ”

“Beautiful newly remodeled cabin with nice amenities. Location was close to route 28 and easy to find. Snowmobile trail was too far to drive with no snow on the road, so we trailered them to the Enchanted Forest parking lot.
The three bedrooms are on three different levels of the home. My daughter did not want to stay by herself, so she slept on the pull out twin bed/couch outside the master bedroom. The bathroom was on a lower level.
Owner was fantastic. Very helpful and responsive. Addressed minor issues right away. ”

“The House is brand new, beautifully built, and has everything you need for a great stay. We stayed for 3 days at the end of Jan. 2023 and could not ask for a more excellent place for a snowmobile trip. The house has very easy access to trial #4 that connects with all the others trails in the Old Forge/ Town of Webb area. Joe had great communication on how to get inside, the heat controls, and all the amenities the house has. Great beds, TVs in every bedroom, brand new appliances, and very comfortable furniture throughout the house, there is also an incredible view off the front porch of the Lake across the street. We will be coming back again next year.”

“A wonderful experience! We stayed here the week of our 34th wedding anniversary. Perfect location: close downtown Old Forge, but short drive to Inlet. Private, serene, and solitude for the soul. short walk to lake edge, but nice walk on Hollywood Rd - or excellent drive and close to hiking locations. Fall foliage was at its peak. This rental was so beautiful. Easy to rent, easy to communicate with owner. Will rent again! ”

“I cant not say enough in words how much we LOVED the Wedding week vacation we took at Northern Exposure!! My daughter was Married on September 17 in Old Forge and we decided to take a relaxing vacation up north pre wedding and stayed right through until the big day was over The camp was GORGEOUS it exceeded all of our expectations!! You do not want for anything up there!! Every amenity you would need is there waiting for you! We had a visit from a Bear on our very first night and spent every morning having coffee with the most beautiful deer!! So very relaxing!! We are looking forward to becoming return renters and making many many memories there!! Thank you so much for everything and for making your cabin our home away from home!!”

“Just got home following our week at "Northern Exposure" and we had a wonderful time!. The cabin looks brand new and is beautiful and very clean!! The front porch/deck is covered by a gorgeous roof which kept us dry on the rainy days and we ate all our meals out there. One morning while out there drinking coffee (early) a black bear came walking up the street and up the driveway and across the yard, right under the deck. He completely ignored us but we got a terrific video and it was a perfect start to the day. Also had daily deer with their fawns. Its so handy to town but a slow, road which is perfect for morning walks. We have been vacationing in the park for many years and this is one of our favorite rentals. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Fantastic vacation, we will be back! ”

“Beautiful ADK cabin with an awesome 2nd floor deck. Host, Joe Morey, was great and made the reservation process smooth. Cabin is brand new with all of the necessary amenities including a full kitchen, washer and dryer and an outside fire pit. The cabin is also pet friendly and our Golden Retriever loved sniffing every square inch of the wooded property every day. ”

“Our 2 week vacation in Old Forge and Northern Exposure was awesome. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The walk to town was easy. The location was perfect for quick drives to Inlet and area mountains and trails. We utilized the association beach and dock to swim and fish. The owner was easy to contact and very quick to respond. We will definitely return. Five stars all the way. ”

“The rental property was exactly what we needed for 4 adults and 4 children for the 2 nights we staged. Proximity to town was key to walking the dog and heading out for quick trips. It was nice to have a grill and a fire pit. We also utilized the front porch to sit and watch the rainfall. ”

“We had an amazing stay. The cabin was so clean. The layout of it was so nice. The view from the front porch of the channel was so nice in the morning. We loved the fire pit. We had a family of deer walk by us as we were out having a fire. The cabin is within walking distance to town so you didnt need to worry about parking. My only complaint was the stay wasnt long enough. The owner was more than accommodating. We booked super last minute and had a great time. ”

“8 friends just spent a lovely long weekend at Northern Exposure. New construction, clean, fit all of us comfortably, including around the table for meals. Great kitchen set up, 2 large full bathrooms with plenty of towels, 3 bedrooms, each with a tv. Deck off the main living area was a perfect place to spend the afternoon with a view of the water. Away from the hustle of Old Forge but we easily walked into town in the morning. Owners were very responsive with information answering email within an hour or two. The wifi was off-line due to the provider, a call to Joe had the wifi back on line within 5 minutes. Owners were wonderful to communication with. Highly recommend and can't wait to get back.”

“This house was amazing and fit our family of 7 very comfortably! The location is perfect and was so easy to get to. The house itself was very clean and had a great set up with all the amenities. We were also able to bring our two dogs which was a big deal for us. The basement kennel was perfect for them! Joe was incredibly responsive during and before our stay. We had originally planned to rent for a weekend in January but due to COVID we had to cancel last minute. Joe was kind enough to accommodate us for a future date which worked out perfectly for us. We appreciated it so much! We usually stay with family that live in the area but will definitely be coming back to this cabin in the future! Thank you, Joe for the wonderful hospitality. We cant wait to be back! ”

“This house is in a wonderful location, close to town but with enough privacy from the neighbors and plenty of room to park! We stayed in the winter months and were so happy to have the driveway plowed early in the morning each day there was snow. The house was clean and prepared for renters. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough to cook anything! We loved that the house was set up to accommodate groups of people with rooms on each floor, there is a washer and dryer, and a fire pit outside. The owner was helpful and kind from day one. We hope to come back soon!”

“We had an absolutely amazing stay. Joe is anything but your average Joe. He was very responsive, polite, and was able to chat with me on the phone to answer any questions I had. He was willing to accommodate my family very last minute and work with me to arrange a stay that worked for us. The cabin was new and clean, love the Adirondack vibe of the place and the beautiful lakeside setting. The location is nice and close to old forge. I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone. ”

“House was fabulous. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. Lacked nothing else we might have needed for a comfortable weeks stay. Great location near town and easy to get to the snowmobile trails. Everything was perfect when we arrived and the layout is great for anyone ranging to a couple to a full group of 6-8 people. We will definitely try to rent this house again.”

“Extremely accommodating !! Very nice had all the basics we needed. Perfect for 6 people comfortably. Great access for snowmobile trails. Had to bring our own sheets which was no problem for us,towels washcloths were supplied. Only downfall was the snow falling off the roof, luckily it got warm and slid off when no one was around. Would definitely rent again. Also owners answered all our questions. Price was also great”

“Our stay at Northern Exposure was wonderful. Everything that was listed was exactly the same as the advertisement. The owners were prompt with every question before and during our stay. “We needed a place for six of us last minute (to surprise our friends in Old Forge). Joe was awesome to work with and very responsive. The place was more than what we had ever hoped to get at such last minute! It is beautiful and worked out perfectly with three couples. It is close to town, not too far up the hill and driveway would fit out snowmobile trailer so... We can't wait to stay again!!! So nice!!! Thank you again Joe!”

“We recently stayed at this place and my experience was nothing short of being amazing. This house alone was absolutely stunning but it was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was extremely close to all amenities we wanted to access in Old Forge. We were able to walk into town within 8-10 minutes. We highly recommend booking your stay here.
