“Beautiful spacious well-equipped lakefront home. Gorgeous views of the lake. Everything the owners describe we found to be true. Ample parking in the driveway; we brought our pickleball net and plenty of room to play. Availability of kayaks and a canoe were a plus. The floating dock was fun for swimming. Wi-Fi access was good. My son was able to work from the downstairs office area. Modernized kitchen area with lots of room to seat large families, and plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. Fabulous big screen smart tv in the living room. A nice fire pit down by the water which we used almost every night. The deck over the boathouse was tremendous. Our only negative comment is that access to the water for small children was challenging. There is no actual beach on the waterfront. The lake is quite shallow in front of the property, which was wonderful for swimming. But getting in and out of the water was tough for the kids under age 6 or so. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation week at this property, and would definitely come here again in the future. The price is a little steep, but when you walk in and see how beautiful the home is, and how spectacular the views are, youll agree with us that its worth it.”

“Our family of 12 were so lucky to be able to rent The Fox Den. It is a gorgeous home on the most beautiful, peaceful lake. The home had every amenity you could possible need. The kitchen was a cooks dream. Walking in you immediately saw the lake from the large windows. The furnishings and decor were beautiful. Even on a rainy day you could feel like you were outdoors looking thru the large windows. We all enjoyed the lake, whether fishing, kayaking, swimming or just enjoying the views and listening to the loons go by. David was wonderful to deal with, making the rental process a breeze. He gave us a lot of info about the area and we went on the waterfall tour he recommended, seeing a few of them.Talking to him you immediately got the sense that The Fox Den was a place very special to him and his family and you seen it as soon as you walk in. Its a place where you can unwind and relax. I was so touched by a gift left for us, I will use and always remember our stay. If you are lucky you may see a bald eagle, which we did. It was the perfect end to our vacation. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you David and Sabrina for the pleasure of staying at your home.”

“This is a great property! The photos do not do it justice. The rooms are large and well appointed. Our family enjoyed the playing ping pong and billiards. The dock was great for our boat. I wish we had more time to stay”

“We had an awesome week at Fox Den on Cranberry Lake! We have stayed at several places in Cranberry/Wanakena and this was by far our favorite. The entire property is updated and well maintained with lots of space for two families with kids. Lots of lake front with room for our boat and a great swimming space...with extra room to fish at the same time....very hard to find! Views from the boathouse are as every bit as good as the pictures. The home has a large updated kitchen with everything you need to make a full meal, two full bathrooms and plenty of sleeping space for everyone...perfect for two families. The large playroom with ping-pong was a big bonus on our rainy day! We will absolutely be back next year!”

“What a wonderful place! Beautiful view of the lake and mountain peaks in the distance. A gorgeous home, better than in the pictures. Pristinely clean and has all the amenities you could ask for! We enjoyed swimming, jumping off the swimming dock, kayaking, canoeing, sunbathing and just enjoying the quiet beauty while drinking your morning coffee. The extra cottage with pool table, TV, and ping pong table was a great retreat for euchre tournaments, catching up on Netflix and pool matches. The fire pit area would be nicer if you could all sit around it in more comfortable chairs. Additionally, air conditioning in the upper level would have been nice on hotter days but really all in all a great vacation spot. I highly recommend!!! ”

“This house was absolutely gorgeous and worth every cent of the rental price! Exceptionally clean! Fantastic views from the many large lake facing windows or the large deck atop the boathouse! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal, minus the food of course, and all the fixtures are very modern and beautiful. The rooms were laid out perfectly for the amount of people in our party and the beds were the most comfortable of any house we have ever rented in the ADK! Many ways to get to the water from the house and plenty of dock space for multiple boats. Huge driveway that our daughter loved to run around and draw pretty chalk drawings! Nice extra game room in the cottage. The rental owner was extremely responsive and easy to talk to. Overall, great house which made for a wonderful time away. We would definitely use this rental again in the future. ”

“This house was the perfect winter getaway for relaxing with friends. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for multiple families. Game room was added bonus for kids to play video games. The house had all the amenities you would need. Perfect location for ice fishing, enjoying a winter fire or talking a walk on the frozen lake. Looking forward to having a 2023 getaway here. Would highly recommend renting here, ”

“If you are looking for pristine views, with every accommodation then Fox Den is your place. It truly is beautiful inside and out. I look forward to returning, maybe in the summer this time. Dave was very accessable and informative. We all had a great time and caught a couple fish too. I would recommend Fox Den to anyone looking for a getaway on a nice peaceful lake. ”
