About this space:
ADK Hideaway is a comfortable and spacious three bedroom and two and a half bath home about a mile from downtown Inlet on a walkable trail. It can comfortably sleep 10 and includes an enclosed porch, outdoor deck and fire pit and an acre of woods that back onto local hiking and snowmobile trails.
The space:
Our camp has served us well for family vacations for the past seven years and we are eager to share it with our guests. You'll find ample puzzles, games, chairs, co …olers and umbrellas for days at the beach and ample amounts of free wood for the fire pit. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for making meals and there is a Weber gas grill on the patio for use as well. In addition to the main property we also own a waterfront lot on 5th Lake at 33 Gilbert Rd. that is available for our guests. We constructed an authentic Adirondack Lean To and fire pit and it's great for camping out.
At the front of the property on Route 28 by the road is a small cottage that is not part of the rental. It is rented during the winter months, but not during the summer.
Guest access:
There is ample parking at the property and guests can easily walk to town on a trail that starts across from Drake's Inn (300 feet up Route 28). There is also a trail through our woods that connects to the FX Mats snowmobile trail which are great for hiking in the summer.
Other things to note:
Guests will need to provide their own linens and towels due to cleaning staff shortages and turnaround times. During the winter our camp is self-cleaning. For the 2025 Summer Season we are accepting only 7 day Sunday to Sunday rentals to accommodate our cleaners.

About Us: We are a family of three that has been coming to Inlet for the last 12 years. We bought our home in 2016 and plan to spend a lot more time in the ADK once we get our kid to college ;)

“Our party of 10 stayed at the ADK HIDEAWAY AND LAKEFRONT LEAN-TO in early Feb 2023 and despite the not ideal snowmobiling weather, this was the perfect place. We had plenty to keep us spread out and occupied comfortably on the days we were not able to ride, with plenty of games, great wifi service for TV and streaming, working remotely (!), etc. The kitchen and main living area are adjacent so it was great to all be together, prepping meals and hanging out. The property features mature woods and paths for the snowmobiles to access the Inlet trail system, which is very convenient, and when we weren't able to snowmobile, the trails were great for walking. I'd love to see it in the summer or fall. The owner was very attentive to any questions we had and got back to us immediately. If traveling and staying with a large party, you will have plenty of room for trucks and trailers. The location is also ideal, being so close to the charming village of Inlet and all it has to offer, while also being close to Old Forge. The suggestions on the instruction sheet of where to eat, visit, things to do, tips and tricks was much appreciated and a nice touch. And finally, it is dog friendly! I loved this, as did our two furry friends that traveled with us. We will be back.”
