House is fully updated and recent additions include window AC units in each of the three bedrooms keeping the entire house cool and comfortable on the hot summer days.

Situated on a deep, double lot in right in town you are walking distance to downtown, Teddy Bear Park, Olympic Museum, Miracle on Ice Arena, Movie Theatre, restaurants, Mirror Lake Town Beach, Lake Placid Marina, Speed Skating Oval, Mountain Bike Trails and much more right from your doorstep.

The owners, John and Heather, love playing concierge for your perfect vacation getaway full of activities and advice of where to rent bikes, SUPs, Tour Guides, un-guided packaged tours, Kayak rentals/Canoe Rentals and tours, Fly Fishing excursions, Skiing options and back country, etc. They will help guide you to to perfect solution for anything you may want to try.

Our front porch enjoys beautiful sunsets along with a propane fire pit for extra enjoyment when a little chilly
outside.

Air Conditioners in each bedroom are new and great but rarely needed. If we get a heat spell the house stays very cool with all three Air Conditioners on.

Please note that parties are NOT allowed at the house. We love our neighbors and respect their privacy. Our Getaway home is a great place for families or friends to gather during the day and to relax at night. If you want to have a gathering of people at the house please inquire with John about what our home can accommodate.

About Us: John and Heather are from Malta, NY and have spent our entire lives visiting the Adirondacks. When we turned 40 we focused on fulfilling our dream of having a second home to enjoy Lake Placid on a monthly basis. We are now in our second Lake Placid home and this one is a keeper! We are avid Boaters, Skiers, Kayakers, Runners, Hikers and love designing homes. Heather is a busy Realtor, Developer and Director for a NYC Fashion Co. John owns AccelSports.net fundraising for High School

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Lake Placid: Host to 2 Winter Olympic Games, Miracle On Ice Arena, Bobsledding, XC, Ski Jumping and Lakes, Lakes Lakes. It is THE epicenter of everything sports both summer and winter. All Olympic Venues just had a $100 million dollar makeover and the Town of Lake Placid just finished a massive rebuild of their downtown with beautiful sidewalks and streets along the lake, new parks in town and it is gorgeous!
