“Location, Location., Location. It was wonderful to hear the rustle of the trees and the lovely sounding chimes from the deck. It is just two minutes to the town of Inlet. Several hiking spots are within twenty minutes or less. Rain or shine just happy to be in the Adirondacks. The billiards table is definitely a bonus. ”

“"ADK Hideaway Chalet" was just what we were looking for! If you're looking for a beautiful cabin set back in the amazing woodlands of the Adirondacks, but you also want to be close enough to town, lakes and hiking trails...this cabin is for you! This cabin is located on a quiet road right off Rt. 28, between Old Forge and Inlet. It is filled with all the amenities of home! As you pull up to the location, there is a long stone driveway with plenty of parking. Arriving at night, the cabin was easy to find and well lit. As we entered, the cabin was extremely clean, up to date and inviting. There is plenty of space with two living areas, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a beautiful loft (bedroom/office) area and a kitchen with a large table and everything you need.
We were looking for a last minute relaxing getaway weekend. We called on the morning of rental and the owners were just fantastic, extremely kind, helpful and quickly responsive to any of our questions! Their place had so much to offer, from sitting on the deck which is furnished so nicely, listening to the small stream that flows next to the cabin, drinking morning coffee and evening wine, to curling up on the comfortable furniture to read or watch a movie on one of the three tvs provided in the home (which were easy to log into and stream our favorite movies/shows - great wifi on their property if needed), to playing a game of cards or pool down in the downstairs living area, to having a fire at the outdoor fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating....so much to do at this cabin whether a rainy day or beautiful day in the Adirondacks!
We also enjoyed being a quick ride to Inlet and Old Forge which offered some fun shopping and dining options. The owners have made sure that their home is a place that you and your family can enjoy as if it were your own! A big thank you to the owners for sharing their cozy hideaway chalet! It definitely is one we hope to visit again soon! ”

“My family and I were lucky enough to spend five nights at this cozy camp. Everything was co clean and everything you could think of was provided! My husband and sons enjoyed the pool table and at night we all enjoyed the fire pit. We were all sad to leave and hope to return soon!”

“Our family ranging in ages 11 to 82 stayed here for a Fall weekend. Its in a perfect location with only a 3 minute drive to Downtown Inlet and a 12 minute drive to Old Forge. It was cozy, VERY CLEAN, and all the wood and bear decor gave it a nice Adirondack feel. The large kitchen area had everything that we needed to make a full dinner (even a dishwasher!). It also has a large kitchen table that seats 8 which was perfect for family meals and a game night. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious. All the beds and bedding were very comfortable and we loved having two full baths (one of them having a walk-in shower). The house is loaded with all the amenities needed to just stay in and relax if youd like (pool table, puzzles, games, TV, etc.). The large back deck off the kitchen was perfect for us to enjoy our morning coffee on while the fire pit was just what we needed to sit around and relax while enjoying smores and drinks after a long day of hiking, shopping, etc. There was nothing about our experience that wasnt overwhelmingly positive. We all loved our weekend and definitely plan on returning! ”
