The Rustic Retreat is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin situated on quiet Lake Tekini...just 8 minutes from Old Forge! Enjoy the large deck with lake views as you sit among the trees or take a few more steps to enjoy the dock and floating waterslide! There are kayaks and a canoe to take a stroll around the lake or do some fishing. Lake Tekini is a non-motorized lake so you do not have to worry about fighting large wakes or the kids safely swimming! The cabin has been given some major love with a fully … remodeled kitchen including new appliances and flooring. The full bath has a new standup shower and tile floor. Relax and enjoy a movie (yes, we have Wi-Fi!) or a book in the living room with new comfy furniture. The open concept downstairs maximizes space for quality time with friends and family. The enclosed three-season porch is just off the dining area and is a great nook for playing games, reading a book and extra eating space. The Master bedroom boasts a beautiful Adirondack Queen-size bed and the best lake views! Gaze at the stars at night through the telescope through the window or just relax on the memory foam mattress. The second upstairs bedroom aka The Bear Room is cozy and comfortable with a full bed and single bed. The upstairs also has a landing space with an Adirondack futon for extra sleeping space or a quiet afternoon nap. The third bedroom is downstairs off the living space and is a cozy campout for the kids! It has a single bunkbed and nightstand. The new memory foam mattresses will ensure a restful night and an even more enjoyable day with well-rested kiddos. Oh, and we mustn't forget the campfire pit to roast marshmallows and tell campfire stories! Isn't that what the ADK is all about?

Pet Policy: Well-behaved dogs (only) considered with an additional fee per dog/per stay, plus an additional security deposit. (2) dog maximum.
-Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. This is not only to maintain our furniture but to ensure an enjoyable stay for all future guests.
-Dogs must be crated when unsupervised.
-Guests are responsible for cleaning up all droppings on property, and properly disposing of.
Smoking Policy: Our camp is smoke-free!
-No smoking allowed in the cabin or anywhere on the property.
Cleaning Policy: Guests are expected to leave the camp in extremely clean condition upon departure, this includes vacuuming, sweeping, wiping out fridge & microwave, removing linens and placing in washing machine, making beds, replacing any items that may have been moved, and removing all garbage.
-Our private cleaning service performs deep cleaning, disinfection and sanitizing between each guest.
Linen Policy: -Linens are provided
-All guests must bring bath/beach towels and dish towels. No towels are provided.
-Comforters and extra blankets are provided.
-Washer & Dryer included
Security Deposit Information: $500 for weekly rentals, $250 for shorter stays refundable security deposit, to be returned within 30 days.
Camp must be left in extremely clean condition, with no damage to camp or property.
All garbage must be removed.
No smoking is allowed on property.
