Loon Lake is a quiet, private, pristine lake and is located in Franklin County NY and is approx. 30 minutes from Saranac Lake and 45 minutes from Lake Placid and Plattsburg NY.
At Pine Cone Cottage, there is so much to do right out your front door. You can fi …sh, hike, paddle board, kayak, swim, or just do nothing but relax!
Crusher Mountain is a 5-minute walk down the road for a fun easy 20-minute hike with a tremendous view at the top! If you're a more adventurous hiker, you can hike Loon Lake Mountain approx. 15 minutes away and view the fire tower. Loon Lake Mountain round trip is approx. 6 miles.
You will love staying at Pine Cone Cabin. It's the perfect tiny lakefront cabin with all the amenities to enjoy for a fun filled vacation get a way that the Adirondack Mountains has to offer!
